Giving this 5 stars because this freshhh Queen City Collective joint is breathing life into this area of Wheat Ridge / North Lakewood. The vibes are southwestern desert and spot on. I generally love and enjoy their lattes, my partner likes their espressos but these are not the best of the best. Just enjoyable and v likable. The baristas there do obviously need some sort of training or more experience in latte pouring. I had a cortado from them one day and it was done beautifully, but not sure who did it. Coffee technicalities aside, this place is vibrant + sunny in vibes and is close to Crown Hill Park which makes an excellent walk.

Read moreThis is absolutely the very best coffee shop! The coffee is outstanding and the food options are yummy. They even have gluten free and seasonal treats! And more than the food and drink stuffs, what makes this the absolute best is the people! They are kind, reliable, personable, and extremely passionate about coffee and coffee art. Since it opened, this place has become my go-to for drinks, a friendly chat and the best beans for home. Plus, the ambience is exactly what you’d wish for a local spot: welcoming, plenty of seating for the small space, clean and filled with bright extras like bold colors, fresh plants, good tunes and thoughtful decorations. I have yet to find another shop that...

I have found this preserves the tasting notes of the espresso and has a smoother finish compared to the alternative method. Notes for the Bolivian were interesting to me - didn’t really get any that were listed on the bag (dates, jasmine) rather came off a bit nutty, with some blood orange - finish is strange - hard to pinpoint, kinda sharp.
Overall, coffee is the star of the show & it just missed the mark for me. Not bad, but not the best in the...
