This store was recommended as the place to go for good shoes on the island. I stopped today, for the first time, to purchase one, possibly two pairs of shoes. The one service person I saw was helping out another customer when I came in, she did say "Hello Missy" so she knew I was there. I browsed the she selection while I waited for her to finish with the other customer, assuming that she would turn her attention to me when she was done. Instead, she disappeared while a new service person came up from the back. I waited for her to ask if she could help me with anything, but instead she started doing some work at the front counter. By this time I had been in the store for at least ten minutes. Disgruntled, I finally left. As I walked out, the person at the front counter called out "Have a good day", so she had obviously seen that I was there. Not happy with their customer service. Read moreI've been in this store once as I'm here temporarily, but I fell in love with the many selections and great styles they have, plus the shoes are great. Many times in retail, a clerk wants to give shoppers time to actually look instead to pounce on that person the minute they walk in. The unhappy customer review could have politely asked her for help and received amazing customer service. I am not fond of pushy salespeople. It's okay if you end up asking for help sometimes in a friendly environment.
