I sent an email to Whidbeytronics to request repair services for my Dell XPS 15 9560 laptop computer’s power-adapter port yesterday, Tuesday 2024/01/30, morning before Whidbeytronics opened. I got Whidbeytronics email address from their Facebook web page. Today, I made a phone call to Whidbeytronics, about ten minutes prior to their scheduled closing time, because Whidbeytronics failed to reply to my email.
I had a conversation with the man who answered the telephone. He said that any email sent to them goes into a black hole and the only way that you should communicate with them is using the telephone or to go to the Whidbeytronics store in person. He said that he was unsure whether Whidbeytronics could replace my Dell XPS 15 9560 Power-Adapter Port, which implies to me that Whidbeytronics does not have the expertise to fix Dell laptop computers.
Reflecting on my experience with Whidbeytronics, as detailed in the preceding paragraphs, I am left feeling both disappointed and dissatisfied. Consequently, I have made the decision to refrain from conducting any business with...

I was more than happy to pay them the modest sum of a couple hundred $ to fix a major BIOS issue I was having with my PC that was beyond my comprehension. They fixed it and it's been running flawlessly ever since. The issue was deep into the clock speeds, RAM details... stuff that your average "guy who knows about computers" might not understand. These people are experts.
Not only that but I just called to see if they had a Thunderbolt cable in stock and got a mini-diagnostic session for free during our conversation. I can't imagine a similar store in Seattle giving me that much time out of their...

When I bought one I was pleasantly surprised that he offered to set it up right there in the store so that when I got home I did not even look at the directions - all I had to do was plug it in and it worked and connected to my mobile phone. I have bought several Wi-Fi routers for home and office over the past several years and this was the best...
