This brookshires is amazing! The store is always clean. It is always well stocked and has a great selection of groceries to choose from. The sales are great, and the rewards system is a huge advantage! I always use my points to get discount on gas. The staff here is incredible. Some of the friendliest, most helpful people work here! I am always greeted, and always have several people ask how the can help me while I'm shopping. Customer service here is always on point!!

If you bought one of these pies, I'm sure you were as disappointed as we were. The apple pie was hollow! There was almost no apple pie filling at all. It was all crust. I didn't expect gourmet for $3, but I did expect apples in the apple puey.

THIS IS IN REGARD TO THE PHARMACY INSIDE BROOKSHIRES: In my opinion, this is one of the worst pharmacies that I have ever dealt with. It stems from the female pharmacy manager/pharmacist. The male that is under her was very professional and kind when I called him to complain. I rarely make complaints, only when warranted. My family and I moved from central Texas a year ago to east Texas. My son has a DX where he takes a controlled substance. His pediatrician from central Texas still sees my son and manages his prescription. I have used this pharmacy for almost a year, and didn’t have any issues until about a month ago when I went to refill my son’s RX. She called me to the counter, was extremely rude & asked me a bunch of questions because “his doctors office is far away and that’s weird” She made me feel like I was abusing my sons medication and trying to pull one over on them, when that is not the case at all. I told her my explanation & reasoning. My son’s pediatrician is one of the best in central Texas. We have seen him for years & we will make the drive to see him for his medication checks whenever necessary. I completely trust his doctor & my son loves him and is comfortable with him. She must have not liked my reasoning and I guess flagged me in the system because his doctors office is over 50 miles away. We do not jump from pharmacy to pharmacy, pick up the medication early, or anything for them to think that we could be abusing his medication. When I got home this day, I was very upset about how I was treated. My MIL called for me and talked to that same lady and she told her that she just had to ask the questions, that the system made her, and all was okay. Fast forward to today, I asked my MIL to pick it up for me because she was heading to Tyler for shopping, and I don’t have plans to go that way for a week or so. When she got there, they told her that it would be the last time they fill my child’s prescription and if we want to continue filling the prescription that we need to find a new doctor within 50 miles. In my opinion, I feel like this is completely unprofessional and their policies should be looked at because “the new lady” that is running the pharmacy is making these changes that will not only affect me, but anyone else that could be in a situation like me. I will be waiting for a phone call from her, and I will be filing a complaint with the board &...

Brookshire's Grocery Store offers a consistently enjoyable shopping experience, making it a go-to destination for groceries and everyday essentials. From the moment you walk in, the store's clean and well-organized layout is immediately noticeable. It’s easy to find what you need, and the wide aisles provide plenty of space to navigate, even during busy hours.

One of the standout features of Brookshire’s is the friendly and helpful staff. Whether you’re looking for a specific item or need assistance at the checkout, the employees are always courteous and ready to lend a hand. Their customer service really makes the store feel welcoming and community-oriented, which adds a personal touch that’s often lacking in larger chain stores.

Brookshire’s selection is excellent, offering a variety of fresh produce, meats, and dairy products. Their bakery and deli sections are particularly noteworthy, with freshly baked bread, pastries, and a wide array of prepared foods that are perfect for quick meals or gatherings. The quality of the store-brand items is also impressive, providing great value without sacrificing taste or freshness.

The store frequently runs specials and promotions, which makes it easy to save money on regular grocery trips. Their rewards program is another added bonus, allowing you to accumulate points for discounts on gas or future purchases.

In short, Brookshire's delivers on both quality and service, offering a reliable and enjoyable shopping experience that keeps customers coming back...

What has happened to Brookshire’s #39 in Flint since our last visit June 9, 2024??? Was a manager let go? Did the person in charge of good service retire? Was the store sold? We had a really unfortunate experience today July 28, 2024. There’s no more service. Storewide, morale was so low it seemed like any old store in the big city. No more East Texas charm. No more nice polite workers. No more helping to the car. Self checkout has been implemented. The staff at self checkout are not pleasant or nice like the old checkers were. The wonderful Brookshire’s experience that we knew and loved and looked forward to when we visited from the big city is gone. Ruined. It’s over. The prices are outrageous too! We left so upset and sad. Was Brookshire’s really that unprofitable when being run by caring people who helped and were so nice? I’m glad we got to experience how great it was before whomever is responsible for this dramatic downturn took over, but the new Brookshire’s doesn’t hold a candle to the old one. It’s the end of an era. A...
