I am doing a two star review for several reasons. I am big for supporting small businesses that are not corporations. I know that Robinson's produce rakes in a lot of money. The owners are living a nice lifestyle because people choose to shop with them. But today, when I entered the building, it was so incredibly hot that I had to just get one thing and leave and then I looked at the employee. She looked so hot and miserable but when I spoke to her and said Aren't you hot, She was so kind, stating it comes with the job. I knew she wouldn't say anything bad, because that is her employer. But jeez, you are living this great lifestyle. Why don't you at least put some electric air conditioners in there for your customers and your employees? I felt like I was gonna throw up when I walked out of that building. It was just too hot in there. And you owner's are okay with them, Your employees working in that heat all day. There is nowhere your employees can go to cook off. They literally work in it all day. I het for small hourly wage too. Also i'm doing a 2 star review because over 4 weeks you guys sold rotten strawberries. I'm big at not wasting anything. But nobody wants to eat rotten strawberries. You sold those small buckets for a whopping twenty two dollars. And they were rotten!!! I even went back twice and continued to get more rotten buckets. Nobody never once offered me my money back. Although I brought the rotten product back with me. When you go to Lowe's corporation and their flowers are almost dead. They mark them down and get rid of them. Maybe you should try that. Twenty two dollars for a bucket of rotten berries is crazy. So stop selling rotten fruit full price and treat your customers and employees better by putting. In some ac, that building is metal and it gets hot in there quick. Other than that, this could be a great place to go for your local produce. Owners need to be more aware and quit making dollar...
Read moreSeemed like a nice place to stop until we went to checkout and the woman was not friendly at all and when we asked for boiled peanuts after smelling them boiling outside, she got a bag of boiled peanuts out of a refrigerator instead of fresh hot boiled peanuts. Never in my life have I been handed cold boiled peanuts out of a refrigerator at a place like this. We were too stunned to even say we didn’t want them if they were cold and not fresh and hot. I don’t know if she was just having a bad day or what the issue was, but we felt as though we were bothering her by being there as paying customers. Haven’t tried the watermelon yet that we bought, so I...
Read moreEvery time I go back home to Whiteville, I have to make sure I stop by Robinson Produce Farms! They have the best selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, that are priced at a rate that makes it affordable to eat fresh! Their watermelons are the sweetest I’ve ever had! Before I leave town I have to make sure I grab one every time they’re available! I also purchased two hibiscus for my mom on Mother’s Day and they are still just as beautiful as the day I got them! Definitely make sure you stop by them on the way to beach! Their products will be a great addition to...
