WAFFLE INTERNATIONAL — Restaurant in Whiteville

Came so close to walking out of this place several times. We waited a long time before they even took our order. We all asked for lemon in our drinks which all came without. I asked the waitress again. She said she'd bring it right out and proceeded to take orders from 2 others tables. I knew our lemons were forgotten. Each time she came out to deliver other orders, she always had ber back facing us and never turbed to acknowledge us. She brought orders out for 3 other tables of customers that arrived well after us. When we finally got her attention to ask about the lemons again, sbe yelled into the kitchen area for soneone to bring them. Later she came by to say they were finally putting my burger on the grill because there had been no room on the grill for it. Seriously????? She brought my friend's bacon, egg and cheese biscuit without the cheese and took it back to just slap a piece of cheese on. That whole experience was a hot mess. When l paid, the person at the register didn't even ask me if everything was ok - probably because she knew it wasn't. While we were there two other tables sent their orders back for being wrong. One lady said no tomatoes because she is allergic and they gave her tomatoes!!!! They got up and left the restaurant as we should have. Major time was wasted there. The place has potential but needs a major overhaul and serious...

Well where should I start ...June 4th 2019 I walked in from the motel next door .There was 2 waitresses working just a handful of people I sat at the counter seeing I just wanted 2 coffees to go both ladies looked at me told me just a min. Ok then another couple walked in and sat down 1 lady walked over and took their drink order now mind you I'm still waiting for someone to ask me what I want nope gave them their drinks and I guess the look I gave her the other lady saw she said get her ...ok 2 coffees to go she fixes 2 cups and walks off ummm excuse me can I please have sugar and creamer its to go remmeber nope she hands me a spoon ..and still not a smile not a here you go hun...nothing I dont even know how much to pay and now she is bussing a table wow the disrespect and the none willingness to make a outside feel like home was zero...so if love close and they know you you are good but thats about it ..I never seen them wash their hands and even coughed in her hands picks up a plate...whoever is the owner really needs to get new and friendlier staff...Never again oh yeah the pay I put a five dollar Bill on the counter and walked out noone...

If there was away to give .5 starts u would I was not happy with my experience here. I was over charged after told that my kids chicken strips were over cooked so hard they couldn't eat it lady said that she would take it off my bill never did then we waited 35 mins to get our food. Lady offered to replace one if my kids plates waited 20 mins for that.I had to help a elderly lady move stuff from that was blocking the bathroom door she couldnt even get her walked down the hall to the bathroom. If I was not traveling I would have went back to have her fix my ticket. I normally tip 20 % of my bill. I left a 3 dollar tip because the service was terrible. Then the lady wanted to tell me why 3 dollars was not enough.I would understand if the place was busy an packed. I understand waitress only make so much, I am one I get it but with the burnt food an poor customer service im extremely disappointed. I was really looking forward to try a new place to eat...
