Cook Out — Restaurant in Whiteville

Burger was overly cooked and charred. Also it was a small portion size. Felt less than lukewarm. Fries were soggy and also less than luke warm. Out of bananas for the milk shake. The girl at the window taking orders and handing out the food seemed very bothered that we were there ordering food. And let out a deep sigh when we added on a milk shake at the window. Not to mention she had a very flat affect and didn’t seem cheerful or welcoming at all. We tried to be nice and to get her to laugh but we got a small smirk out of her. While taking our order, it was my moms first time and she seemed to rush us after telling her this. But whatever. Probably won’t eat here again. Burger King is right up the road. She seemed miserable to be working there. I hope she finds something that makes her happy, I felt bad...

Customer service from the cashier was great. Had an issue with poorly made food - ordered cheese fries and it was only on side of container and all over the fork they put on top of the fries in the container. The lady manager seemingly took it personally and did not applogize and instead turned and walked away without even a smile after trying to tell me that's how the food always comes out. As someone in customer service, I know that's not how CookOut wants her to treat me.

The wonderful cashier still smiled and treated me with respect and acknowledged my complaint.

Sad when the management handles issues worse than...

I love cook out but this time I was really disappointed in the drive through. I waited in line for over 15 minutes. I got to the window and the cashier told me I would have to pull around and go to the first window. I was in the correct line to yield and wait as the car in front of me to pull away. I pulled around and the line was backed up. That meant I would have to wait another15 to 20 minutes. I have been to several cook outs but this location was disappointing. I refused to wait in line again, so I left. If they do this to all their customers this Cook out will...
