Update 7/16/22. Went again this morning and saw some of my favorite vendors for broccoli & kale sprouts, zucchini, watermelon and peaches. Signed the petition against the market space's lease price increase. So many local artisans displaying their gifts, talents, and the bounty from each one's labor of love. Make sure to follow the market on social media to keep up with hours. They have pretty much everything from pottery, candles, farm raised eggs, vegetables, fruit, various farm raised local meats, baked goods, kimichi, jewelry, jams, prepared meals, art, handicrafts, wine, juices and lemonade, honey, and even a keyboard soloist (the talented Anthony Ailey). Read moreFarmers Market in Wichita Falls is way down hit the back in the downtown area next to the railroad tracks and it's by the train museum. They have on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 demonstrations from different people that have things I think this week is supposed to be a baker and they're showing some different food items and giving tips and samples there's a couple places that take the senior vouchers and the WIC vouchers right now. There are other places that do not and there's some little stalls at people have there is one particular that has a special soap made with mineral water from Mineral Wells Texas and it has helps with skin issues and even soothes skin cancer removal areas. There was more people selling jewelry, clothing, wine, and other stuff NOT fresh farm raised produce and homemade foods! I was really disappointed.
