Sutherlands — Local services in Wichita Falls

We had a fantastic experience Sunday at Sutherlands! Previously that weekend we had picked out furniture at a different furniture outlet where we also had a good experience. We ordered furniture, traveled an hour back home, measured our living room, and realized that set wouldn’t fit. We then went back to WF the next day to cancel that order; and I was DEVASTATED. My husband said, “Hey, let’s go look around somewhere else. You never know!” I was just ready to go home defeated.

He took me out to Sutherlands to look at recliners. That’s all he really wanted was a recliner. I was VERY pleasantly surprised with the selection! AND THEY HAD THE FURNITURE IN STOCK ON SITE! $50 delivery fee for an hour out of town which they ended up waiving!

We ended up picking out furniture with a very knowledgeable employee named Joe! You could tell he had a sense of ownership and took great pride in what he did! He just kept saying “I want you happy! You have to be happy with what you get.” When we picked out a reclining couch, he told us there were matching reclining chairs but they weren’t on the floor. Then he OFFERED to pull one from stock, with help from Julio, and put it together for us with zero pressure to purchase. Just to TRY IT OUT! (We ended up picking out different reclining chairs and Joes entire demeanor was just as pleasant! I felt zero guilt. Which is rare.)

Brandon and Eli help to locate stock! Eli made sure to give a discount for the floor model couch, as that was the only one they had in stock. AND THEN when I, rudely, balked at the price of a coffee table I wanted, Eli offered to sell me the floor model coffee table at a discounted price due to a damaged leg. THEN he waived that delivery fee I was telling you about!

On top of ALL OF THAT, we qualified for 12 months 0% interest financing by applying for a Sutherlands credit card! Which we did with the help of Salina!

All in all, this experience turned my day around. I was at a devastating low when I walked into Sutherlands. I didn’t WANT to be happy. But they could SEE that! Then they bent over backwards and went above and beyond to ensure I left with a smile on my face.

Go see these guys! They care more about making you happy and making sure you have what you need/want than about selling furniture/other products. (Also! They sell dog food! Who knew!)

OK y’all so I placed an order at Sutherlands for some windows for one of my rental properties October 3. So my guy goes over to pick up the windows and the Sutherlands in Shreveport says they do not have an order for me. So I freaked out and go back online when I sign in it was showing a store in Wichita Falls, Tx. And I’m like Lord did I send my order to Wichita Falls? So I immediately called the store to tell them what’s going on they put me on the phone with this awesome awesome lady name Michelle, who took my information and told me she was gonna send it to IT and research it and get back with me. When I tell you, this lady called me back within 15 minutes y’all and they located my order. And it was at in fact in Shreveport and when you say Customer Service !!! that’s Customer Service. So I just wanna shout out the Sutherlands in Wichita Falls Texas They are absolutely amazing. They helped me tremendously and so if you get a chance go there shop you guys the customer...

Sutherlands is awesome! Love their greenhouse treasures. You wouldn't guess, but they also sell really cool, reasonably priced furniture. There have everything a builder or home repair, improvement tasks would need. They have a ton of unique man items and lady items, you'd never guess, you'd find there. You can choose from a number of fabulous style homes and they sell the entire kit to build a beautiful home. They sell all kinds of bulk dirts & rocks a bulldozer will dump into a truck bed or trailer. Cheapest price for large sacks of potting soil and other bagged garden & yard necessities.
