If I could give a lower rating , I would. I have Never experienced such rudeness from a business. I am still stunned as I write this. I had purchased something that just didn’t work . I had inquired about the return policy. When I went to return it, well within their policy guidelines, the store was closed due to Covid. When the restrictions lifted, I was already back to my home state. When I called to return the item, I was told , very rudely, they were not accepting returns. When I tried to discus the situation, there was no budging. Kept getting told “ it was policy “ , in a very rude and almost hostile manner. While I totally get how devastating this Covid thing has been on retailers, I was completely dumbfounded at how this business was handling it. Very cute souvenir shop for non-locals! This store also has a boutique across the street in the same town square, but this particular shop sells trinkets such as jewelry, purses, home decor, and even Intelex Warmies, heatable lavender-scented stuffed animals for kids. The staff is friendly and always available to help. Navigating the store is tricky sometimes because it’s small with lots of merchandise on display. Taking a young child through the maze of aisles could be problematic with lots of fragile pieces. It’s a fun place to shop and find random, unique gifts. Update: I spoke with the owner regarding my disappointing experience. During our conversation it was very clear that she places customer service as a high priority and strives to ensure her staff understands this as well. She sincerely apologized for my experience and was also willing to accept my return . I am very appreciative of this business owners response and subsequent handling of my return . This owner truly cares about her business, staff and customers....
