Anna's Groom Room — Local services in Williston

I have written a lot of reviews in my time, and I really hate to give less than 5 stars to anyone. Honestly, if there was the ability to give zero to this place, I would. We brought our mini Aussie there 4 times before I finally started driving all the way to Sidney once a month to get our dog groomed by a professional.

So, let's start by giving a little kudos to this place. When we first moved here, they were the only place with room to get Aksel in. They told me they could only do a sanitary trim on such short notice. I was thrilled and brought him down immediately. On the downside, they charged $140 for the sanitary trim on a dog that gets groomed every 4 to 6 weeks. Plus, Aksel was there for over 5 hours. Oh well, I was still happy that he got trimmed up. So, we made another appointment in the future, and it was clear that it would be a full trim next round.

We showed up 4 weeks later for his next appointment. Upon drop off, they said, "Just a sanitary trim, shouldn't be long. " I said, "No, no, no, we discussed a full trim this time." They replied, "we don't have time for that today," "Fine, " I replied, "Let's just make sure he gets a full trim next time." The charge was $160 this time, and he was there over 5 hours. Set up an appointment for another the next round in 4 weeks and specified again that it would be a full trim.

The 3rd visit was an exact repeat of episode number 2. Yet we tried one more time due to the fact no one else was taking on new clients.

The 4th and final visit was a repeat of the same ol story. Sanitary trim after expressing how important a full trim was this round, yet again. We were charged $160 again, and he was there for nearly the entire day. I had to wait in the parking lot for 3 hours for him to be finished. Furthermore, this time, he came home very sick. For the first time in 6 years off his life, he pooped all over the floor that night while we were sleeping. I'm not sure what they fed him while he was there.

Words can not express how deeply disappointed I am in this piece. Utterly frustrated and let down in every way. I strongly encourage you to find any other place to take your pet if you value them, your wallet,...

Our two labs absolutely love coming here and always come back so excited and full of happiness. My wife and I as well as My mother and step dad left all of our fur babies here for boarding of 5 days while we went on vacation. we let them know that my chocolate lab has anxiety and it makes him reactive. they completely settled my nerves and letting me know they deal with this all the time and know how to handle it and that it wasn’t a problem. they consistently sent photos and updates on our fur babies. my mothers dog had a significant amount of blood in her urine while she was there and they immediately called us and sent us a photo of it. we immediately called the vet and got her an emergency visit and anna’s got her there right away treating the problem and keeping us updated. my chocolate lab came back more confident in himself and other humans. he was happy and had lots of personality to him. we all absolutely love anna’s groom room because they go above and beyond to make sure our babies needs are reached and even more. if we could leave more than 5 stars i would. i highly recommend anna’s to anyone in...

Had an awful experience. Went to set an appointment today. Called and said you had to do them online. Set it up online. Was running late for the appointment called got there. The girls were asking if I wanted this and that shame on me. I should have gotten prices first. What they were describing sounded like what I had already set an appointment up for or close to that. I have two very small dogs basically wanted one's face trimmed. One of them to both get baths. Their teeth brushed and nails trimmed and the bill came to over $245. That is ridiculous. That's almost double of what I pay to get my own hair done. The manager did come over and she did offer to take a small portion off of the bill to which I did decline. If that's truly how they want to run business then they must need that money more than I do. Just want to make everyone else aware so that you make sure that you get the price of exactly what you're getting before you leave so you aren't blindsided when you go to pick your pets up. As for me, I still think the owner is a nice lady, but I hope that I never have to take my pets...
