C L Nailsalon — Local services in Wilmington

I have been going to this salon for the past several years.

They always have given great service however the last 2 times, where the worst.

Henry did my nails, gel manicure.

He thinned my nails terribly to the point where they all broke/ripped within the FIRST WEEK.

After that, I was disappointed and took my business elsewhere.

I wouldn’t have been so upset as much of it was acrylics but it was my natural nails.

After a year, I decided to give them another try.

Kyle has always been great but the last time I went, a simple gel manicure,

Within a WEEK, 1 nail ripped, 3 nails were chipped

It’s been 3 days since he’s fixed them, and now 2 of my nails have broken.

Too many clients that they take on when in reality they don’t have the time or staff to handle each customer with care/customer service.

So January 26th i went to the salon to get a full set an pedi. The tube they use for pedicures was ONLY rinsed out instead of cleaned and disinfected. the tools they use for your feet that goes from person to person was ONLY RINSED with water. it’s been 4 DAYS since i got my nails done and THE NAILS ON MY RIGHT HAND HAS ALREADY LIFTED ON EVERY FINGER & you can tell from the top near my cuticles on the left hand that they’ve already begun to lift . i spent too much money at this location for my nails to have to be REDONE ! i will be calling to speak to the owner ! First, "Tom" cut too deep in my cuticle and had to sop up my blood for 5min, then the brand new polish job smeared WHILE I WAS JUST GETTING IN MY CAR to leave (this after I specifically waited and asked until Tom said the nails had completely dried) and I had to walk right back inside to have it redone, THEN, my gel color chipped not 48hrs after it was done.
