Long Leaf Mall used to be a Wilmington STAPLE, but those days are no more. Harris Teeter's long time placement there is, as far as I'm concerned, the ONLY reason the various businesses haven't gone totally under. How Big Lots and the other stores have managed to stay afloat is a mystery to me. I NEVER see many vehicles in the parking lot and I pass by the strip mall OFTEN. The former Gold's Gym, located behind Harris Teeter, has changed hands at least 2 or 3 times since Gold's left and most of the current gym's clientele is, well, annoying to put it mildly. Several of their "patrons" speed recklessly around and do "donuts" & "spin-outs" in the mostly empty parking lot, without receiving any backlash from police despite there being a WPD extension just ONE block away from the gym. Read moreI have always loved Big Lots. There's so many items available here. They have reasonable prices. They also carry unique and hard to find food items. So many times, I've found myself heading to Big Lots for a food item that I just cannot find in any grocery store. I also come here to get items that are sold cheaper than at other places. It's always fun to look at their seasonal items too. They really do have a great home and garden selection with some really unique items. It's also a perfect place to shop for Christmas presents. I've even shopped here for items for my daughter's dorm room when she started college and moved into the dorm. I really like shopping at Big Lots and recommend...

Plus they had their usual household goods, plants, pottery, uou name it. They had their Halloween decorations along with some Christmas out already. Customer service ladies very friendly.
