C-Street Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Wilmington

This is my all time favorite place to eat. The food is always amazing and there's only one girl that works here that I've ever had a problem with her attitude. My only complaint is that recently they have started skimping on the meat. I'll get four bites of chicken in a $6 burrito. They didn't used to be like this and I'm hoping this isn't a permanent thing.

I am editing this because after years of having eaten here, i have decided i am not going here any longer. I hadn’t eaten here for a while since their portions had shrunk and prices had risen. Yesterday, i was here when they opened. I could tell they were working on what seemed to be a large possibly catering order. Both girls behind the counter were speaking Spanish to each other the entire time, only spoke English to ask “what else” we wanted. Then, while checking out, i remembered that i wanted a cup of sauce. One of the managers was standing behind the cashier, very clearly waiting on her to finish ringing me up. I said “well they usually charge me for it” since she had already swiped my card, i was just going to give them cash. The manager literally “shoo”ed me off, making a gesture with his hand and said “yea yea they do. Dont worry about it today. Well have it out to you in a minute”. Giving 3 stars when I know this place can do so much better and can do better I have witnessed it in the past over the years. Tonight was different though. The last few visits over the past few months have been hit or miss not the consistency it used to be. Tonight the chips were on point but the burrito was off. Still good but you could just taste something different about it. I got there a little before 7 and it wasn't busy at all. Got the food but to my surprise no tea was out front. That's ok I can deal with Soda. One of the workers had their infant child in there with them who like a child would get fussy at times. That's to be expected with young children but I know some people may also be bothered by that. I still eat here from time to time even though it's changed some. I'm hoping they get back to what they used to be...

I hadn't eaten here in YEARS until recently. I moved out of the area & when I moved back, I kind of forgot about it. My husband & our friend felt like something different, so we placed an order & lemme tell - I'll never forget about it again! I had the most amazing steak queso nachos piled HIGH (& they didn't make the nachos until we arrived so the chips wouldn't get soggy - smart!). My husband & our friend each had burritos & both said they were the best burritos they've had in a long time - everything was so fresh! And the customer service was outstanding - they called to let us know they'd run out of something AND they brought our order to our car since we had to wait for the nachos.
