My name is Jeff. I am a local business owner in Wilmington and I ALWAYS keep my business local. I needed a necklace repair over a year ago and somehow I ended up at Snowdens. I was pleased with the service I received at that time. Fast forward a year and here I am in need of a necklace repair again today. I came back to Snowdens. I am in the parking lot making this review. Customer service is HUUGE to me as I own and run a service based business myself. I couldn’t be happier with the service I have received not once, but twice. Today I dealt with Colt. He greeted me when I entered and did everything possible to get me fixed up as quickly as possible and keep me a happy customer. He explained all of my options. The particular pieces that we needed were not in stock so he is ordering the correct parts to repair my necklace. Rather then end here, he decided to fix it immediately with a part that is gold plated to hold me off till the correct parts come in. He remembered how important this necklace was to me as I inherited it from my deceased dad. He knew how bad I wanted to wear it today so he went above and beyond. The people were rude and snooty to me every time I stepped a foot in the door. They mocked my choice of head setting on my engagement ring. Yes, yellow diamonds are often set in yellow gold. It compliments the color…the original setting had a yellow gold head on white gold shank too… The bench work is mediocre at best. They set my diamond crooked. The prices for bench work are insane. Quoted $130 to size up ONE ring size and then they never did it! They were supposed to size if the ending size was not what I requested. I have been here several times and now I’m done. Will never go back.

Response to owner: Prior to this response, the owner posted that I was just a competitor- until I posted my receipt to prove otherwise. I supplied the head and brought it and the shank into your store. I have the receipt for that and can post that too. You cut the tiny gold bridge out(and kept it) …you didn’t have to heavily modify the setting. I could have done that part myself. You did not size the ring at all as agreed and it was a half size too small when I picked it up. I had to take it elsewhere for more work!
