Walgreens — Local services in Wilmington

Would give 0 stars if I could. Biggest waste of time I’ve ever had at a pharmacy. If you want to keep your time and sanity, I suggest you find another pharmacy. Have been going here for years with no issue, but noticed staff has changed recently and service has gone absolutely down hill. Since staff has changed, I have literally been unable to get my monthly prescription. This past month, I have had to get several new prescriptions and prior authorizations at the pharmacists requests. Today I went back with the the prescription exactly the way they asked. Initially, they told me there was no issue. However, the person taking care of me left because their shift ended and I got handed off to the incompetent pharmacist. I waited an hour and a half for him to tell me there is an insurance issue, which is not true because I called my insurance company to check. The best part is, after all of this, I asked for my physical prescription back and they could not find it.

Nothing about my medicine has changed, but now with new staff all of a sudden there are tons of issues and I can’t get my meds. I got specific prescriptions and prior authorizations at the pharmacists request, but every time I did what he asked I got another excuse for why I can’t get my prescription. The pharmacist is the most incompetent excuse for a pharmacist I’ve ever encountered. Wasted so much of my time there that I will never get back. He is playing with peoples lives and should honestly be nowhere near a pharmacy ever again. Walgreens should...

The male pharmacist with the dirty hair is beyond rude. I go to the doctor once a month and get my prescriptions and I have never had a problem filling them until now with this guy. He was beyond nasty to me today. I went to the doctor as I always do and when it was time to get my prescription filled he told me he could not fill it because it was to early. I explained to him that I was given a partial fill and I picked the rest up on Monday. He told me it must have been the other pharmacist because he would never do that. I reassured him that it was him because he gave me trouble for paying cash with my prescription. He told me he would have to check his security cameras. I told him to check them and he would see me there. He then told me that he still would not fill my prescription. He made me feel like scum, dirt, and trash! I have never ever been made to feel that way! I asked for the manager of the pharmacy name because she is extremely nice, but he has no manners and does not care how he treats the customers! I will never ever use this pharmacy again! I advise anyone that thinks of choosing this pharmacy to rethink if you see this nasty haired pharmacist behind the counter. He will not treat you the way you should be treated. At the end I was given my prescription back and am now trying...

I went into the store on my lunch break to pick up an item on 11/1/2012.....I walked up to the counter and there was a young lady in front of me being waited on and the cashier completed the sale and walked away from the register. Well I thought she is checking on something or getting something....after waiting for about 4 - 5 minutes and finally looking around the corner to see her with a group of ladies putting things on the shelf...and when she seen me look around the corner, another young told another young lady in another section of the store that she had a customer waiting....THAT WAS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!
