Mixed feelings here. Frank's Wine was recommended by our wedding planner. We began the process to place the order for our wedding and he was extremely nice & quick to respond. We advised what we wanted, and he provided a suggested quantity list based on our guess count. After reviewing and advising we needed to make some additions and changes since I know my guests the best as well as what they drink is when the issues and attitude started coming in.

He advised me he had been doing this for over 35 years and no one has ever ran out of alcohol and if we go too far away from what he suggested we can no longer return for cash refund but rather a credit for his store. After much back and forth we placed the order. Week of the wedding comes (the don't deliver but Frank recommended a courier service who we booked with) The alcohol is delivered, I complete the inventory of my 40 cases and come to find out one case is missing with about $400 alcohol. I reach out immediately and says, "I am not calling you a liar but I packed it myself" and refused to offer my any sort of apology, credit or solution.

I reached out to the courier, they confirmed it was not on the truck, they called franks wine, and they said as a curtesy they would cover half of what was missing. Frank would not cover the other half and basically told us to pound sand.

Wedding day comes, we run out Seagram's and Titos halfway into the reception. Then when my parents drove to DE to return the unopened extra alcohol for our refund, they told Frank we ran out of alcohol and he laughed and said it happens.....

He then advised us his accountant does the refunds once a month and we would have to wait up to 30 days for our almost $700 refund. We did get the refund. However, I would not however recommend using...

This was my first experience purchasing alcoholic beverages for a large event. At the recommendation of the caterer, I contacted Frank. From the very first moment, he put my mind at ease. To say that Frank knows what he is doing would be an understatement. After determining how much alcohol will be needed, he gave me suggestions of brands, for which I was free to change. He also wanted to understand the crowd to make sure the brands would be fitting. I allowed Frank to pick the wines (4 different kinds), and they were wonderful! The amount of beverages was perfect with little wastage or leftover. Yes, you might find some cheaper prices for the same beverages that Frank's Union offers, however, if you are like me, and value personalized service at significant quality, relief of concerns in the face of a lot of other things to worry about, and dealing with a true gentleman, then for the few dollars or pennies difference, the decision on where to go is a no-brainer. I guess one could go to a large, national chain, but if you are like me, and haven't spent your life researching wines and other alcoholic beverages, and can use guidance, then go to Frank's, you will not regret it. We went through Frank's Wine to obtain the alcohol for our wedding. Guest count is about 115. Frank was recommended to us by a friend and it was quickly clear why. He was incredibly responsive and friendly and clearly laid out the process up front. One thing we were worried about is making sure we had enough but Frank provided a recommended quantity on everything we were ordering which allowed us to feel confident we were heading in the right direction. He was also very open and accomadating to the small adjustments we wanted to make. Another concern for us was the wine. I'm not a huge wine drinker so it was hard to know where to start. Frank was able to take a suggestion list provided by our caterer and use it to pick out some top quality wines that, because of the discount he was able to provide, were exceptionally affordable. Needless to say, we certainly won't run out of wine! Frank was also able to accommodate a special request of mine. I wanted a particular bottle of whiskey for the groomsmen while we are getting ready. This whiskey is very hard to find in PA but Frank was able to provide it. Hearing we had to obtain our own alcohol for the wedding was intimidating but Frank made it the easiest part of our wedding planning. I cannot recommend Frank's Wine...
