Winchester Plaza — Local services in Winchester

3 stars ONLY because that is the number of open Businesses in the plaza. Usually just check out Bargain Hunt but the last 5 times I've stopped there hasn't been a lot of bargains to dig and find. FOR the price the company pays for the returns, b-stocks, salvage, and insurance buyouts from the monstrous giant online retailer we all love, I feel that, prices have gotten as bad as goodwill .

Their store in nicholasville KY is great when I've had the extra time to go there. I don't mind digging for a bargain; however when I dig and the prices are as high as a big box or boutique, I feel as if I should be charging BH for my time and retail experience! I shopped at SHOE DEPT. ENCORE & bought a new pair of Sketchers ArchFit ExtraWide Fit. I buy all my shoes here. Great place. Footnote: I pulled my hand out of my pocket & unknowingly pulled out a $50 bill & it fell on the floor at the checkout while I was was getting some info about a pair of shoes. I dropped off some wash on Christmas Eve at the laundry mat, and a very nice lady took care of my wash. Ellen was not only very nice but went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied. It was a super king comforter and she did a great job on it. It was Christmas Eve and she was supposed to get off work at 12pm, but she stayed until 2pm so I could get the comforter back on the bed that same day. Great place and...
