I have spent so much money here through delivery since becoming disabled. Iām here temporarily after a work fall and have a lot of surgeries so Iām here with family. I am a GM in a famous known venue in downtown NYC and have worked in hospitality since I began at 16 here in Winchester. This is where I learned we go above and beyond for the customer in need and within reason. Certain accommodations are made for people who need help and to be ADA compliant. Today, after I had returned from the hospital (had my most recent surgery Monday - of many) I had my mom (and caretaker) pull into Starbucks to order my usual which is 3 to 4 Trenta black cold brews and I put them in the fridge and they last a good while. I cannot drive and cannot work at the moment for obvious reasons so I buy these in bulk and have them delivered but to cut costs since we passed Starbucks pulling into Winchester, we pulled through to order. We were stuck in line and made the order and requested a carrier and bag because with my mobility devices and such, my mom and I cannot get those in without spilling or get very far in traffic without spilling. This hasnāt been a problem when getting them for groups at other Starbucks in the past like in New York ordering for a group, etc., I had even done it here in Winchester a couple of times though it had been many months since last able to. Today, David, the new store manager took the mic from the employee who said that was fine and told us that he wouldnāt do that. We further explained the situation after some confusion and my explained my physical disability as well and he said no, and said thatās for delivery vehicles and people pay more for it. He didnāt even ask if we wanted to pay more for it. It was just a point blank, no. Thereās other medical reasons that make this very hard but we had to stay stuck in line as you canāt get out of line for us to roll up and he tell us the total and I told him my job title and why I was in town and that I wouldnāt be buying from them but that we learn in hospitality to be better for our customers and to go above and beyond. Especially when disabilities are apparent and there is a physical need. He was smirking a bit but thatās fine. I was just said do better or something but I wasnāt trying to be over the top or crass. Just hope he cares at all that I went without something others have access to because I couldnāt carry mine and he refused to help make that possible by putting the drinks in a bag. It could have been so simple. I think the worst part is that I explained from the start that I didnāt know that, I always delivered, that I was stuck in a line now, and physically cannot carry that so can we make an exception and still I received a no, point blank. I can't imagine that Starbucks would stand by that and I can't imagine what Iād do if I got a call that any of my management acted that way. Do better, Starbucks. (I attached something to prove I order quite regularly). No more until someone reaches out with an apology and an answer to fixing this problem for physically...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDrive thru was busy so I decided to go in because I also have to make it to work on time there was one person in front of me . He got addressed and waited on fairly quick and left. I continued to stand there noone says I will be with you in a moment, noone says anything. So after a few more minutes of being ignored I finally spoke up and asked to be waited on. Only at that point did someone come up to me the young lady started to take my order when the rude shift manager interrupted her and told her to go take her 10. Once the shift Manger took my order she proceeded to tell me it would be a few minutes because they had alot of mobile orders. Never says thank you sorry about your wait anything. I go to this location almost Dailey and have never been treated rudely until today. I was very disappointed. I understand that places get busy. But hey can you just atleast acknowledge that I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is great other then one specific man that works there and his name is Brandon. Im pregnant and like extra Carmel in my drink. Everyone els has no issue doing it for us. I came through while he was there a couple of times and he refuses to do it the way I ask unlike anyone els. He slammed the drive through window in my face after I had asked about the Carmel. Hes very rude! I called and asked to speak with a manager and of course he answered, he refused to let me speak with anyone other then him because "he's the store manager" im sure there's another manager that was working today. When you take on the roll of fast food, making your customers happy are your priority. I work fast food and id never treat someone the way he does my fiance and I, even my mother and sister in law today... its ridiculous! I don't think someone with his attitude should have a job...
