Tokyo Hibachi & Sushi — Restaurant in Winchester

Initially my friend and I walk in for our first time at this location it's almost 4pm when we arrive the place is empty minus one table of people (these people are relevant) and the hostess or whatever she is is sitting at that one table of people who turn out to be employees eating food and laughing. We stand for a minute or two looking for someone to seat us when she finally gets up, has a mouth full of food, grabs 2 menus and directs us to a table, I say thank you and get an audible murmur. Very rude. Next our waitress comes out and she did great very polite and courteous. Our food was less than what I expected and that means a lot coming from winchester dinning selections. As a regular it truly breaks my heart to write this. My wife and I used to eat here weekly but when the new ownership took over it has gone downhill badly. We came here on Valentines Day and we expected a long wait due to the occasion, but came tonight and it was the same situation. 45 minute wait just on food, rice was undercooked, an order of medium rare steak was overcooked (almost crispy in a way), and shrimp was heavily coated in a teriyaki sauce that made it too spicy to eat. A friend from work recommended that I try this place and I'm so glad we did. The food was great and the staff were all so nice. My little great-niece absolutely loved the steak bento box. She usually only nibbles at her food and is such a super picky eater, but she ate all of her food here! My husband and I both loved the sushi, too. I had no idea that we had a place like this here in Winchester. We all agreed that it was definitely our new favorite place to eat here in town.
