Ocean State Job Lot — Local services in Windsor Locks

Do not shop at this location. I was just in the store simply purchasing a Tupperware container along with mayonnaise, only I couldn’t find the mayonnaise. So I saw an associate by the name of Lily who was in the candy & nuts aisle. I asked her for assistance with finding the mayonnaise and she said “I don’t know if we sell it” I said “well, seeing as you sell ketchup and mustard, wouldn’t you sell mayonnaise?” She says “it would be next to those, then” and whipped her hair as she rolled her eyes at me and walked away with out showing me where exactly the ketchup and mustard would be. So I went up to the front register and a young man was there who I asked to call a manager. He said “she’s upstairs”, this means NOTHING to me as a customer. Lily proceeds to yell from the other register “I told you the mayonnaise is next to the ketchup” I replied saying “I don’t know where that is since you wouldn’t show me” so again she rolls her eyes and pages the manager over a walky talky and the manager says “I don’t think we sell mayonnaise”. I am a store manager and have been for 7 years. This would NOT be acceptable in my store location and I sure as hell don’t believe it’s acceptable in yours. She is a shame to your store. She’s an embarrassment to your company. I will no longer be shopping at the Windsor Locks Ocean State Job Lot because of your incompetent and careless employee. It’s sad that you would let an employee treat a customer that way. Customer service is number 1 in a retail store and your store/company failed because you chose to hire and keep...

W.L. location has gotten better with the appearance of the store inside. It did look like a hurricane hit it in the past. Now its neater & organized mess. Prices are good. Quality eeehhh. U get what u pay for in some items. Great if ur on a budget or just starting out . Need to be aware that some items are refurbished or not the best qualities. ( clothing has some defects occasionally) food products are not typical brand names. Best thing about osjb is the Portuguese sweet bread! So excited that they carry it. Family would make occasional trip to fall river mass to get it. Now we don't have to drive forever to get it. ...

I went to OSJL to get supplies for the weekend holiday. Aluminum pans and snacks. I will admit it was fully stocked. But on that note I went to the snacks section. I grabbed two bags of Popcorn poppers, advertised for 1.50 . I got to register, paid for my items. Was walking towards the doors to exit, looking at my receipt. They charged me. 1.79 each bag. I walked back into the store, went to the section teared the price sticker off box which said 1.50. the person at register, still didn't believe me. I had to get a manager to prove I was right. Wow..for over charging me. Watch...
