Poudre Pet & Feed Supply — Local services in Windsor

I think the local Poudre Pet Feed could get a more friendly staff... I go in there ever 2 weeks or so for my Dog food and my Cat food and the young girls that work there have NO customer service skills what so ever! A few weeks ago I went in there and noticed there were two different types of bags of the dog food I got so I tried to ask the girl what the difference was and In return I got a short unhelpful response and she just turned and walked away... Another time I went in there were a couple girls working..one was behind the counter and the other one was off to the side of the counter I walk up there with my dog food and stood there waiting while the two girls talked about clearencing items and how they didn't like how they clearance them and customers end up liking the items then asking if they will be bring it back.. all the while I'm standing at the counter in front of the girl behind the counter.. I patiently stand there and even attempt some small talk while I stood there and the response I got was more of how I was interfering with their conversation... as she goes a head and answers the phone when it started to ring.. again I'm still waiting.. eventually she was kind enough to ring me out.. then today I go in and I noticed there was a cute little dog in a dress there and I thought it was so adorable so I asked the girls " oh who's dog is this?" And the response I got was a quick flat "it's a store dog" response and that was it.. I do not care for the staff that is working at this location and the only reason I keep returning is because of the store owner which is extremely friendly and helpful.. if it wasn't for her I would probably go else where for...

I like the new location and like the self serve dog wash except—-the 2 times I have been there to wash my dog, it has been around 5 pm both times, and the sun was shining in my eyes the whole time I was washing my dog. Pretty uncomfortable!! The second time I used the dog wash, I wore my sun glasses. But then it was too dark to see and still didn’t stop the sun piercing in my eyes while washing my dog. I don’t think anyone working there has tried to wash a dog durning the same time the sun is piercing through the window. It is awful!

I mentioned the sun after the first time I was there but the worker said they were not planning on putting up curtains. I think blinds or tinted would work great. Even a flat cardboard box would great too!

Well—my opinion, something needs to be done about the sun because it is brutal.

Also, the second time I went, the towels were flowing over. I tired pushing them down but it was super full. The dog wash room did look clean just messy with the mountain of towels. Oh, and the drier pieces were missing.

The staff and products at this store have been so helpful navigating our new rescue dog's food sensitivities. We sought them out when we realized he was clearly having a lot of food sensitivities and they recommended the ucari sensitivity test. This has been a total game changer for our dog. Paired with their expertise on finding products he can eat, his life has completely changed for the better. I am so so thankful for all their help, support and suggestions in navigating this complex issue, and now we have a dog who looks and feels amazing. He was severely underweight and traumatized, and finding the right nutrition for him has drastically improved both his physical and emotional health. The customer service, knowledge of products and professionalism is 10/10. Thank you SO much for all your help and concern for our new baby. It is unreal the change we've seen in our dog...
