Moda Beauty Bar — Local services in Winfield Township

I booked the lux highlight with Lexi. It was my first time booking with moda salon & I regret it. She sat me in her chair & asked me how I like my hair, I told her bright white. 3 hours 20 minutes ago by & my hair looks the same as I walked in. She told me I can come back & add couple more foils. I get home & my husband nor I don’t notice anything different about my hair. Apparently she put something on my hair to darken it because it’s the new “trend”. So she did the opposite of what I said. So I come back & sit for another 3-4 hours. Another stylist was working on the back of my hair & Lexi was working on the front. From my point of view the girl that was working on my back seemed hard working more then Lexi on my hair. I felt that she didn’t care about me, she did not make me feel welcome back into her chair & before I left she made an unprofessional comment towards me. After sitting in Moda salon for total of 7 hours I left is Yellow patchy hair & no one seemed to care. I paid $240 & I was promised a white blonde highlight. I don’t think Moda beauty bar should offer a highlight if they don’t know how to do one!!!! They wouldn’t allow me to process. Once they finished doing my hair they completely started taking out what they finished first. The manager said letting me process for 30-40 minutes especially under a heat lamp scares her. Well if they knew how to highlight & know how to let a client process I wouldn’t be leaving your salon with yellow hair. I paid $240 & I was not offer any money or credit back. After this experience I will not be returning to Moda for any...

Brows: I got a hybrid tint done for the first time. Emily was really great at explaining the process and helping me choose the right color for my skin tone. The tint is pretty dark when you first have it applied, but after you wash your face the first time, it lightens a little. So I recommend doing brows a day or two before an event. I'm loving my brows right now.

Pedicure: Yari did my top shelf pedi and it was so good! She was mindful doing the massage part of the pedicure and didn't skip past it. The gel-ohh shot was a neat experience, too. I was so relaxed, I was almost falling asleep in the chair.

Manicure: This service was not so great. The tech was nice but we had to leave the room for a part of the manicure because there isn't a sink in the room. Additionally, my no-chip polish chipped pretty badly on 4 nails within a day. Over the next 3 days, the other nails started chipping, too. I called the day after when I noticed the first nail chipping and the quickest they could get me in was in two days, but due to my work schedule, I couldn't go until 4 days later for a fix. At that time, a different tech, Mazzy, saw my nails and decided it would be better to start over on the polish. She was quick, efficient, and friendly in redoing my polish. I'm happy with the new results and appreciate the customer service in righting...

I cannot say enough about how amazing Moda is! I love all the girls who work there and who I have had services by. Specifically, Carly, Bella, Ashley, Tailor, Taylor and Olivia!

Carly- has done my lashes and brows and I have had an amazing experience every time. She’s an OG and has always been super kind, accommodating and just an overall gem! ❤️

Bella- has done my lashes recently and I seriously felt like a babe leaving the salon. She’s super knowledgeable and provided me with a lot of education to keep my lashes going strong😍

Ashley- has done my lashes and hydra facial. My skin was glowing for weeks after that facial! She was so knowledgeable and walked me through everything so I was comfortable the entire visit. Can’t wait to get another one. ✨

Tailor- has done my lashes, brows and spray tans and I have always been more than satisfied with my service. She did my first lamination and I will never go back to not having them lol.

Taylor- has done my most recent lamination and they are going on four weeks strong of looking amazing. I have had my brows done by Taylor before and she is an absolute Rockstar 🌟 at brows!

Olivia- has done a lash fill for me and she was such a sweetheart. She took her time and communicated through the entire process.
