The first interaction with the server was a little odd. At other restaurants I’ve had them ask if we’re celebrating anything special but this server asked “What brings you out tonight?” so I had to respond with “Dinner.” He phrased the question the same way to the table next to us who responded with “Food.” We started off ordering appetizers. We ordered the bruschetta and I had a Caesar salad. The bruschetta bread was too big and ended up being soggy. I’d recommend a smaller, toasted bread. The Caesar salad was good, though. We then ordered our meal, we both had filets. The menu didn’t mention any sides or that our meal came with a side and soup or salad (nor did our server mention this when I ordered a salad for the appetizer). Had I known this, I wouldn’t have ordered a separate salad. The menu also had items hand written on the back that we just happened to see but were never pointed out by our server. We both opted for the baked potato as our side and soup. The soup came out first but was not good. It lacked flavor and desperately needed salt, which wasn’t on the table. The steak and potatoes were very good. My steak (6 oz) was cooked perfectly and my husband’s (9 oz) was slightly under but close enough. The flavor was very good and topped with butter. I’d like to see them add some sauces to the menu in the future (creamy horseradish, blue cheese, etc…). We ended with cheesecake which was also good. The server was very good at refilling drinks and food arrived promptly. They do have 2-3 people clearing plates which was a little much. One would come by and ask to clear a plate. I’d say “no” and two minutes later a different one would come by asking the same thing. They cleared one plate at the table next to us and asked the other person if they could clear her plate while she still had food on her plate, fork in her hand, chewing, and obviously still eating. I’d recommend one person clearing plates so they can maybe remedy this. Overall, the steak was delicious and we’re excited to be able to get great steak at a very reasonable price this...
Read moreThe service was amazing!!! The food was delicious. We had breakfast....the food came out quickly and was all correct. I had the Mexican skillet and it was GOOD!!! The biscuits and gravy were good, but we personally like ours with more sausage and a bit more flavor. I had coffee and it was consistently good, meaning that each refill tasted the same. Max had raspberry tea and that was really good too! His bistro skillet was good. He was able to customize it to his liking and his eggs were perfectly cooked. The skillets are good sized portions and come with toast or pancakes.
I recommend this place, at least for breakfast.
Many times, going out to eat turns into disappointment either with the service or atmosphere or the food quality. I am tired of spending my money in places where the service is terrible or the food is either poor quality, lacks flavor, or is just...
Read moreNew to the area and decided to check out this place. First, bistro prices do not match food quality. The crepes are a HUGE disappointment. For the price, I would think they would make their own filling, nope straight out of a can…which is crazy. The canned filling is so disgusting. I paid extra for cream cheese and it wasn’t even repurposed, just a corner cut off of a block of cream cheese. The crepe itself, even besides the filling wasn’t worth the price. The Mexican scramble with fried eggs and chorizo was good, my only suggestion would be to use diced potatoes to elevate the dish a bit. 2 out of 5 bc they are waaaaay over priced. For strawberry crepes and the Mexican scramble it was $40! Should have been closer to $20 . The toast...
