Paid a quick visit last weekend before grabbing dinner and really was only able to fit in a quick tour. Returned today on 08/17 when I had ample time to really dig in and have a look-see at their wares. It's an amazing shop with extremely welcoming and helpful workers who look like they genuinely enjoy being there and are open to lending a helping hand when needed. The shop is filled with a legion of quaint items and objects ranging from adorable and quirky drinking vessels to haunting, intricately carved wooden African masks. I was there yesterday, purchased vintage brass candlesticks and postcards, changed my mind regarding the egyptian brass vase from the vendor downstairs. Said merry christmas as I left. If you are looking for some items to make your home feel cozy and warm then Antique & Chic Winfield is worth the drive from Chicago. I found some special items (vases, candle sticks, trinket bowls, and art) reminiscent of my grandparents home.
