Scone Emergency = Joyful Triumph!

Let me tell you about these scones -- they're not just baked goods, they're buttery, crumbly little clouds of joy. Sweet, flaky perfection in every bite, with a variety of flavors so tempting it's honestly unfair to the other pastries in town.

I showed up right at closing time like a woman on a mission -- I had an emergency (yes, scone emergencies are real) because my friends were taking a painfully early flight and I needed to send them off with something that said, "Bon voyage, but with carbs."

Not only was I greeted with kindness, but I was offered a delightful selection of scones like it was still mid-morning! The service? Superb. Compassionate. Possibly saintly.

The shop itself is also a total gem -- cozy, welcoming, and full of great energy. It's the kind of place where you want to linger, sip your coffee slowly, and pretend you're a local character in a charming indie film.

The next morning, I enjoyed the outside with a fresh brew and a scone, soaking in the morning peace and feeling very pleased with myself.

Meanwhile, my friends, in their sleepy travel frenzy, forgot their share of scones. TRAGIC for them. But also... YESSSS for me -- more buttery goodness to hoard enjoy!

Moral of the story: come for the scones, stay for the kindness and the vibe. And if you're flying out early -- maybe forget a bag so you have an excuse...

This place is beautiful! I'm disabled and I can only sit in certain chairs comfortably. As I was trying the different ones, one of the employees was sitting in a purple chair and asked me to try that out. I did and it was perfect! How nice of him. On his break too. How kind! I sat and enjoyed a couple of scones and a delicious hazelnut latte. They were very, very nice and did everything they could to please me. That was really amazing to see that there's still service out there with people who care about what they do. I've been to coffee houses all over the country and a couple in europe. I must say this was an absolute perfect visit. I had the birthday cake scone and the triple chocolate scone. I recommend both but I am a huge chocolate fan so that triple chocolate is what I recommend first. yummy! 😋 My wife and I have never visited this place, and now it is going to be our Saturday coffee dates in the afternoon every week. literally the absolutely kindest staff, all the the people i’ve talked to have been so wonderful and checking in on how i’m liking the coffee or scone (both delicious) and are seriously just the nicest guys. their selection is huge and has new flavors every day! my current favorite is probably the turtle or cinnamon roll scone, but every single one i’ve tried (easily 25+) has been incredible. they have great selection if you’re gluten free/sensitive and some wonderful savory scones as well (pepperoni or jalapeño and cheddar is my fav). the staff really truly go out of their way to make sure you’re enjoying your order, and always are so accommodating with help for the stairs or holding the door for my family members with limited mobility. i’ve been visiting for over two years and i would give the food, service, and atmosphere 100 stars if possible. ordering ahead is...
