I do A LOT of work that requires construction materials and tools. My whole family is or has been in construction for generations. When we first moved here, I went to Foxworth because my Dad had used them in Sulphur Springs years ago. I was treated like a dumb blonde shopping for items. I tried two-three more times because “everybody has a bad day” and “every company has a bad employee” but I still got treated the same. Just recently I pulled in at 4:57pm and I saw a guy standing at the door, he saw me, but he went ahead and locked the door. Really? This store is a rip off joint. Purchased materials for job recently. Returned about 2 weeks later and purchased the same materials. Price tripled on the same exact material. I found my old purchase ticket in my vehicle and went back in store to question the tripled price. They told me they had received a new shipment and price had increased. I needed the material to finish job so I loaded and left. Called yesterday to check on some MDF material. I recently purchased the same material at Lowe’s for under $47/sheet. Good all around lumber yard. Have been buying from them for over 5 years for my construction company and customer service is way better than the big box stores. They deliver and are more on time and schedule than Lowe’s or Home Depot. Been buying a lot of cedar siding the last years and always there to help. Makes a difference when you have a sales rep that takes care of you. And also the main guys in the store get to know you as well.
