Wow , what a little family owned gem this place is. I had to go to Winnsboro (30 mile drive) to pick up an ATV and had my wife with me and she wanted to have lunch while we were in town. She found this little restaurant in downtown and it had the highest rated reviews so that’s where we went. To start off the restaurant was very clean (wife loved the atmosphere and said it’s cute) and the waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The chips came out hot and they were fresh. The hot sauce was homemade and fresh. Luckily it was mild so my wife could eat it and we liked it. My wife ordered the Burria egg rolls and I got the California burrito. It took a little longer than expected but when the food came out we knew why. The egg rolls were stuffed with perfectly flavored Burria and cheese. The burrito is literally the best I’ve ever had at any restaurant. The food looked amazing and was hot and smelled wonderful. Everything was prepared fresh and to order. I loved that nothing was just sitting and kept warm , it was freshly prepared when we ordered. The Burria dipping juice was really good and the fresh green and red sauces that came out with the food were so good and you could tell freshly made. Both food items were amazing , we couldn’t believe how good the food was. We were raving about the food while we were eating. These 2 items I highly recommend trying. Also the Agua frescas were so good. Wife got the passion fruit/ orange flavor and it was good. This is the best food of any kind I’ve had in years. Even though it’s a long drive we are going there from now on to try other items on the menu. And definitely get the tres leches in a cup chocolate cake was so good. We were eating it on the way home and wished we had gotten 2. I have only posted 2 or 3 reviews ever online , but this restaurant is worth the drive and worth telling people about. I am not afraid to drive a long distance for really high quality great...

The decor was bright, vibrant, and bursting with character—it immediately set the tone for a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The plates themselves were works of art, with beautiful, authentic designs that added to the experience.
As for the food—wow! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The tamales, in particular, were a standout. They were not only packed with incredible flavor but also impressively huge! Every bite felt like a taste of home-cooked perfection.
This is the kind of spot where you feel the love and care in every detail. I can’t recommend it enough—definitely...
Read moreI just happened to stumble upon this restaurant and I'm so happy I gave them a try. I had the birria torta with rice and beans, my fiance had the Al Pastor Tacos, and we also got two chicken tamales. Everything was excellent. The best birria I've had. The tamales had the perfect amounts of masa and meat. We also paid to have chips, salsa, and queso. Chips were hot and fresh, salsa was mild, but wonderful. Queso was delicious! Loved that you could taste the poblanos. I fell in love with the rice, sooo flavorful. The only thing I wasn't the biggest fan of were the refried beans. They were a bit too thick for my liking and had a flavor I wasn't sure about.. but above all everything...
