I shop here regularly since its extremely close to my house. Overall it's a very good store, employees are usually very friendly and helpful except for a couple. Only real complaint I would have is the produce department and the dairy department. I've learned my lesson by now to always check dates when going to this store. It's only on certain items though like the sour cream, cream cheese, yogurts, they seem to not rotate the way it should be done or pull items because there's been quite a few times I have bought items and they were out of date already or about to be out of date within the next two or three days. So please always make sure you're checking dates on items. As to produce the strawberries need to be checked before being put out on the floor. Everytime I go in there there is always mold growing on the strawberries and produce should be one of the most upkept departments in a store. The asparagus as well has had mold growing from it. The onions should also be checked because there's always a lot of fruit flies surrounding the onions. I used to work in Produce for another store and I know how it should be proficiently ran and this department tends to upset me the most. But overall it is a good store. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is due to the fact of the constant problems in produce I come across and the previous problems with the dairy that I know are still going on because I see it and place it right back on the shelf. I got tired of taking spoiled stuff to the front to management because its simply not my job to have to...
Read moreStaff is great, prices are usually better than most local grocery chains. Make sure to sign up for rewards card, truly the only way to get the real deals here. On the app you can get extra points to get cash back off your purchases. So far so good, now for the bad. Sometimes I get freezer burnt food products, salads spoil very quickly, and my biggest pet peeve of this location is the atmosphere. They've attempted to update the interior but they need more budget for up keep or something. It's just very depressing in this location, the lighting is very dingy and so are the floors. I had higher expectations when I saw them years ago beginning to remodel from Winn Dixie to Harvey's, but at this point I wouldn't use the term remodel. They need new equipment/freezers, open faced coolers, etc. One of the open faced coolers by the standing seafood freezers section has been feeling much warmer than usual and I refrain from food in that cooler even though the temp gauge on the outside of it states its to temp. #MakeHarveysLessDepressing Not to brag but I have years of Kitchen Manager experience, so there are somethings that I can't...
Read moreI called ahead to verify the vaccine appointment. The lady assured me I was getting the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. I got there and they no longer had the vaccine. Mind you I drove 2 1/2 hours. Then I was going to take the shot they had and was told I could receive my second dose closer to home. The pharmacist then said I couldn't do that and would need to drive 2 1/2 hours back to the store for the second dose. I declined and they pharmacist got very rude. The whole time I was reasonable and calm even though I was mislead and drove 2 1/2 for nothing. Three other woman came and left while I sat there for the exact same reason. They also were told they would be getting the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. I probably wouldn't have said a word were it not for the mistreatment by the extremely...
