Very friendly lady took care of me and got me some amazing donuts and croissants. The maple sour cream donut was excellent as well as the maple walnut cinnamon bun. Honestly everything was very delicious including the savory stuff; I got a bacon sausage egg cheese croissant that was absolutely delicious and my boys were fighting over it. The ham and cheese croissant was a sleeper and had a special cheese blend that give it a nice delicious smoky flavor with the ham. I live in Lakeland and had a doctor's appointment in Winter Haven and with a few minutes to spare I stopped in to Donut Palace and man they didn't disappoint. I ordered a glazed donut, a sour cream gladed cake donut and a cheddar kolache. OMG the BEST donuts I've ever had! They were warm, fresh and soooo good! The man behind the counter told me to try the cheddar kolache and boy it was great! It was so warm and fresh and the flavor of the meat and cheddar was great. All of that for just $4.35. I stopped in one morning on a whim as a train had me blocked from going to work. So with a few mins to kill I filled my tank and stopped in for a few donuts, MAN OH MAN!!! FORGET DUNKIN AND TOTALLY FORGET KRISPY KREME THEY FAIL HORRIBLY in comparison to the taste, selection and service I found here. Now I stop in EVERY morning, except for Mondays as that's the day they're closed. But yes it's gotten to the point where I walk in the front door and the gentleman turns around and goes and gets me my four glazed donuts and rings me up.
