Read moreThis place smelled so bad before even coming inside. There was poop everywhere and the care of these animals was so inhumane. They had chickens packed in small cages, some were sick others had a lot of feathers missing and they even had black and white ducks you see in lakes everywhere as if they went out and caught them just to sell. While we were there, some guy brought a couple of boxes full of chickens he was just grabbing them by the neck and wings and just flinging them into their cages. It was sad and traumatizing for my kids and us to watch so we left right away. This is not called free range chickens and it was sad to see terrified chicks in cages too. They are very pricey selling chicks 5 for $20 and I didn't care for how they treated all these animals. I will spread the word and tell people not to bother coming here until they change how they treat their animals. I will not be returning either and if you like animals, I suggest you don't...
Read moreI have been arguing with myself for a few months to leave this review. I typically process my own chicken, but this time, I was sick and took them to A-Poultry to process. First, I took 27 chickens to process only got 25. They argued with me, and I let it go as it was not worth the argument as I couldn't prove what the amount that I took. Second, and the most important. I took Cornish Cross Broilers, and that is not what I got back. What got bearly breaks the 4lbs mark. Usually, when I process, they are around the 6lbs mark. The meat of my chicken is tender. What I got the meat is tough, and for the first time in my life, I had to put the chickens in the pressure cooker to eat them. My chicken were white feathers. What they gave me have brown feathers. At this point, we are better off eating store bought chicken than eating whatever they gave me. I really wish there was an option for 0 stars. This is disappointing, and I hope that this doesn't happen to...
