Twistee Treat Winter Park — Restaurant in Florida

I live across the street which makes me a frequent twistee treat customer. I used to really love coming here because whatever you got was filled with toppings and great soft serve. The last couple of times I’ve come, I have been quite disappointed. I’ve come twice within the last 3 days and I do usually order the same thing. First time I was like ok, maybe just the wrong day wrong workers kind of thing they seem to be young maybe training? But today, the young lady Working, I really couldn’t understand her English well. Also, there was an elderly spanish lady who didn’t speak English at all too. I order the same thing I usually do, medium vanilla cup with sprinkles with lid. Twirl with 3 toppings as displayed. 2 kiddie cups, vanilla and a slushie. (I have a big family). With said, all the other times I Usually never have a issue. Slushie, ok you really can’t mess that up (I would hope not). 2 kiddie cups with vanilla (which I’ve always gotten with lids or in to-go coverage). Twirl, always with tons of toppings that are chosen-which it comes with. I might as well have 10 hands to grab all items for my family of 6 with all open containers Given to me mind you. Not even offered a bag or lids. I would have paid for a tub of ice cream and own candy instead of paying $5 for a “twirl” party cup filled with vanilla ice cream. The medium cup Of ice cream I could of paid for a kiddie cup and saved a couple bucks. I usually do not write reviews or complain but this was like nonsense and quite disappointing. I don’t like fast food and I could say I rather go to mc donalds if this is how they are running things now. The people don’t seem trained and if they are they just don’t care. Two, people come to twistee treat for the diverse menu of sundaes and sweet ice cream treats. Makes no sense to get any of it if you can’t even enjoy the damn toppings with the ice cream cause there isn’t any and or not enough ice cream. Can’t win for losing with this place...

If I can rate zero stars I would. Today I really wanted twistee treat ice cream. Went to this location and this is my 3rd visit at this location. 2 weeks ago the same girl who has braces and wears glasses had the same aggravated attitude. I went through the driver through and asked if the twirl had Kiddie, Small, Medium (etc.) sizes. She said no only Small for $4.59. I said how big is the small is it 12oz... 16oz and she replied she doesn't know. I then asked if they can put the dipped ice cream cones in cups. She then said yes. I ordered 2 of those and a brownie boat. I got to the window and waited a while. The young lady who has braces and wears glasses opened and no greet just stated my total with an attitude. I then handed her my credit card. She handed me the brownie boat without a lid. It didnt have the fudge or whip cream (as shown on the menu picture) and was already melting as if it had been sitting there. Was more like a milkshake boat. I asked for a lid...her phone rung and she closed the window. She then opened the window and handed me the boat with ice cream spilling out no napkins along with the cones. I asked if they were mediums because the ice cream barely went over the top. She said yes with and attitude. I said can I please have napkins and the cones in a cup she close the window came back with chocolate smeared all over the cups outside and rolled her eyes. The experience was awful and I almost asked for a refund of my $12, but I didn't. I never have a bad experience from the CurryFord or Alafaya location and from now on I will drive the extra 6miles to those locations before I go to this one. Absolutely poor service and you'll get better ice cream from Twistee Treats...

I have been many times and loved the service and ice cream. Tonight which is Friday 8/19 around 730pm the service was horrible. Got charged extra for a brownie Sunday because they had a broken chocolate ice cream machine and asked for strawberry and vanilla mix. Also asked for whip cream and cherry on top that is normally on it and the young girl assured me it was on there. What we got was a milk shake in a solo cup with no whip cream or cherry on top. The young girl said it was all mixed in and didn't offer a solution to the melted ice cream mess we got. We got a few brownies in it which we usually get so many that it's too much and there was no sign of whip cream nor a cherry in the melted mess.

What a disappointment and a waste of time and money. We go there a few times a week and will take our business elsewhere going forward. I could see messing up an order but when you serve the public a melted ice cream in a cup and not even offer an alternative and charge you extra then I can't trust...
