After taking a tour of the massive facility, I set up a photoshoot for a pageantry system I am co-owner of. Recently I booked a photoshoot for myself for new promo pictures. For such a small place, Studio Lot offers incredible value. They’ve managed to arrange many different sets and environments in a way that would make IKEA proud. Beth is extremely accommodating, happy to customize the space in any (reasonable) way, from moving set walls, to adjusting lighting, to serving as a stand-in model during setup. There’s even a bathroom in the studio - forget your worries about having to find the public mall bathrooms. Despite being in a mall, the sound is great - quiet and controlled. Access is the only downside - it’s a bit of a walk from parking to the studio entrance. However, it’s unlikely anyone will be bringing heavy duty gear to such a small location, and for me and my cart it was easier than many locations I’ve used. Words cannot express the level of professionalism, awesomeness, quality, flexibility, and just people skills that Beth and Studiolot Orlando provide. I had a very ambitious project where I needed multiple sets for filming a fiction TV series. I met Beth and fell in love with the sets, saw my vision, and she worked with me on everything from getting more parking spots for us because we had a big crew and cast to giving me advice and helping me rearrange things.
