First, I will start by saying the dental hygienist, and all of the assistants and staff were fantastic. BUT IF YOU HAVE ANXIETY OR ANY FEAR OF THE DENTIST DO NOT COME HERE!!!! I LEFT IN ACTUAL TEARS!!! I have a severe Anxiety Disorder, and when I think of the dentist I automatically start to spiral. I know I had been needing to go for years but couldn’t manage to bring myself to even call..but I have been having a little pain in my tooth so I decided this year I will face my fears and get my teeth all clean, nice and happy. When I got to the office I let them know my anxiety and fears. They were very understanding and kind. They took me back and got all of my scans//Xrays done. I guess I have a deep cavity in and between my teeth in the back that's why it was hurting so bad they said it's too deep and I have to get root canals and they were being really nice about it. Saying like they've seen way worse and it's just because I waited too long to come in and get normal cleanings/fillings etc then the Next thing I know, this Horrible insensitive Dentist DR.K —WHO WASNT EVEN SUPPOSED TO CHECK MY XRAYS OUT, walked into my space looking at my stuff on the wall. He came over to me and started legit grilling me, "THIS IS YOUR TEETH?! You are so young this is terrible?! How?! You need to fix this. I'm just telling you straight as it is. This is Terrible. Get a spin brush and brush with some a Listerine. This is horrible your too young to have these problems you have to fix this this is terrible” I have read MULTIPLE ONE STAR reviews about him. What does the organization have to say about him being completely wrong in certain situations?? Well they say “Our doctor is very meticulous and brilliant”….. OKAY. You can be brilliant and not be completely mean. I left IN TEARS. Literally they couldn’t even work on my mouth at all because I was sobbing. He needs to retire or stop being horrible. You can “tell it straight” and not talk like an insensitive jerk. I wonder if we can ban together and make him retire. I have also reported him to the state board. If he was not here this facility would be top notch. The female dentist seemed to be very kind, but I couldn’t focus on her through my tears. So I just left and will never come back unless he is gone. It’s sad that one man can cost this establishment so much negativity. But it is the companies choice. I was thrilled because I found a dentist that could do a root canal on my back tooth that accepted my insurance. During my initial consultation I was told that I had a cavity on the tooth next to it and that they could do both on the same visit. When I came in for the visit today I was told that only one was going to be done? Since my main dentist could have done the filling I assumed it was the procedure that I came there for. After spending over 2 hours while undergoing at least five shots and enduring condescending comments from a doctor who probably should have retired years ago.... I was told that they just did the filling??? Half my face was completely numb and the doctor was asking me where I got my referral from.. I told him I didn't want to talk and he said.... well you know what! I don't have to continue this procedure I'm done! ??? He called me names and I was so upset I just got off the chair while it was in mid-air and said I am leaving and called him Dr Demento and informed him that I would talk to my insurance company and leave a review... This place has the nicest people at the front desk ❤️ they have 4.9 reviews... How this one guy slipped through the crack I don't know... I think he's the same doctor that the other woman with the autistic child complained about in one review... He seems that he enjoys to inflict pain 🥴 and that's not only physical... In the food and beverage industry we speak of people that have been in for too long as being Marsha'd out.. not sure how they refer to it in the dental industry but this man...

I went to Allenwood Dental in Woodhaven, MI for the first time today. My sister gave me a $50 gift card to use on my first visit to Allenwood Dental. All the employees were very gracious, helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with me. They gave me a tour of their office and showed me all of their equipment (new), explaining everything to me.

I only went to get my teeth cleaned. They began by taking lots of x-rays and pictures of my teeth and checked out my TMJ problems. Their Hygienist gently did a thorough job of cleaning my teeth and then applied polish to my teeth. Lastly, Dr. Ghannam, my dentist, looked at the x-rays and pictures of my teeth with me and explained their condition.He personally checked every tooth and my gums. He asked me several questions about any previous problems I may have had with my mouth and/or teeth in the past.

When I went to check out, the receptionist told me that my entire appointment was totally free. She also gave me three $50 gift cards to give to my family and friends so that they can make a visit to Allenwood Dental to experience the caring, excellent treatment thatI received today. I was very surprised and grateful for the excellent care they gave me today, and I look forward to coming back to this Allenwood Dental office in...
