Yesterday around 8pm I arrived threw drive thur, we had lost power so got a late night dinner I got the family meal with desserts they informed me they had no avocado and no lettuce for the roasted turkey ( which is common for this location okay no biggie) I also asked for a pick two with a whole sandwich which they said they don’t do whole sandwiches with the pick two so I ordered a whole roasted turkey w/avocado with a side of cream of broccoli coming out to a total of 60 bucks after waiting 20-30 minutes for food at the window they are out of chocolate chip cookies and offer me oatmeal for replacement or sugar cookies I replied sugar cookies then they are out of the bread they use on the turkey sandwich so they offered me a different kind which at this point give me anything they also let me know they were out of Roman lettuce and had to use a different kind I asked is there eating utensils in the bag she replied yes as I drove off I pulled over to the side because we couldn’t eat the food without eating utensils because we were staying at a hotel for the night because of the power outage well there was no eating utensils so I wait for another 20 minutes in line to come back around to grab the eating utensils I get back to the hotel in woodhaven there’s no bowls for the soup, no napkins and fresh baguette that comes with the meal for 60 bucks the food was cold the time I got back to our room and we literally were 5 mins away I wasted an entire hour for cold and missing food and can’t forget about the problem they was having with cc machine . Read morePlaced an online delivery order through the Panera App. The driver delivered this to the wrong address. I had to call Panera back twice because the first call no one answered. Who would of thought 8pm was their busiest time of the day. When they finally answered the second time I called I got the absolute rudest employee to speak with. She offered zero help and did her best to get me off the phone. Was told even though it was ordered through their Panera app that it was technically door dashes fault which I understand to a degree. Problem is the order was not placed with door dash it was placed with Panera who subcontracted the order to door dash. The employee said it is what it is and there is nothing they can do. I assume since they close at 9pm she just wanted to leave. Wish I would of asked for her name because there was zero desire to help with the situation. Her only objective was to get off the phone and go home. Customer satisfaction and customer retention was obviously not in her job description.
Judging by the other reviews on this panera location I am not the first one to share these frustrations. Management needs to step up or find someone who is willing to provide atleast a mildly satisfying experience.
Best of luck to anyone who attempts to dine at this fine establishment. May the force...
Read moreBeen to this location multiple times. I had hoped the first couple times were just flukes, but after this third wrong/incomplete/unfixable order, I'm giving up here. I really want to like Panera. It has a nice cozy atmosphere and the food (when correct) is really good. Although with the high price and advanced technological ordering systems, there are expectations for things not to get so messed up. Not sure if it's a front/back of the house issue or if they seriously undersupport their ordering/inventorying network (their wifi has always left a great deal to be desired) but for as large of a chain as this is, I find it terribly unacceptable to have experienced as many issues here and dread to think what else is wrong behind the counter.
Update/Edit 8/24/24: Returned here recently when I was hungry and hoped things had improved. Long story short, my order was missing several important items and the wait was incredibly long. They didn't even seem busy at the time (very few customers). So this was my annual check that this is still the worst Panera I've ever been to. After this long and this consistent of issues, this is 100% a full-blown management issue and not just a few bad apples working behind...
