First time here. Very friendly staff and speedy service. We decided on take out to decide if we'd comeback for a dinein nite. BBQ Quesadillas w/smoked chicken. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Order 3 of the small plates if you can't get a regular order. These are the BEST QUESADILLAS!!!!. Excellent taste with onions fresh mushrooms. Awesome. The BBQ Chips were great as well. Fresh with a nice crunch. Cold slaw was different. Normally I Iike small chopped pieces. This was actual fresh cut cabbage carrots, etc so you could tell it was from scratch. Last the wings........ Sorry very dissatisfied. I asked prior to ordering if they were cooked throughly. I explained how horrible it is to order takeout and get home only to disappointed. I was told they are smoked then fried. It was further explained they can't get the crunch of crispy chicken but guaranteed they would be cooked through and through. NOPE, not the case. I called explained in detail exactly what I'm typing and will be credited another order of Quesadillas at my next visit. And yes, I'll go back, but I know I WON'T get the wings. Not saying others won't like them. I personally just can't, can't do pink smoked chicken. Overall great service. Excellent staff. Excellent...
Read moreKroger is nice, clean, and comfortable to shop in. I only purchase Kroger Milk, it's actually Mayfield just homogenized once instead of twice, the "Good to Dough" brand of bread and buns, and the "Smidge & Spoon" sugar, it's very fine, not large granules like Dixie or Kroger Brand. Or anything that is on sale and is lower than the Walmart App price. Unfortunately, even when adding in savings from Fuel Rewards, Kroger is 25%+ more expensive over the entire trip. For instance, a pack of Jumbo Nathans Hot Dogs is $3.99 at Walmart and $5.29 at Kroger. Kroger is also significantly more expensive on cereals and chips, with both often being more expensive and smaller by weight/volume. I would love to shop at Kroger more often, but price is the driving factor when comparing...
Read moreI bought several types of meat here including catfish and Chicken, both of which had turned within a matter of days. I also bought cut flowers that were wilted and stinking within a couple of days... This is not your usual Kroger experience, I guarantee! The good thing is, I've been a "Krogerer" for what seems like forever and they took care of the problem with the meat and reimbursed me in full. I stopped in here on the way back from visiting with a friend and I will never go back in this store again! The store was neither well kept nor were the people friendly, other than Kroger's staff and the prices were higher....
