The Art Place — Attraction in Woodstock

I am the writer/producer/director of the inspirational comedy, "Final Audition, Last Chance for the Role of a Lifetime." We just concluded a highly successful 10-performance run at The Art Place Theatre. I am extremely grateful to have found The Art Place, which has a beautiful 120-seat theater with a large stage area. The Art Place offered us a reasonable rates to rent the theater. I worked with Arts Facility Coordinator, Suzzanne Anicette, who was very helpful booking the space and guiding me through the process, making adjustments when needed. Her entire staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, including John, Aiden, Amy, Brice and Pat. Plus, we were assigned an exceptionally talented lights/sound tech, Louis Thompson, who became part of our team. We had a great and successful run and the staff at The Art Place helped us every step of the way. Great facility!...

The staff are so kind, you can tell that they love the work they partake in, and they want to get the community interested in the arts. I've been to plays/musicals here in the past and looking back, they are great memories. I loved the little art gallery they had up, which included pieces relating to anime, video games, etc... which was nice to see in a gallery space. Some places don't love to display those kinds of works, but you can tell that time, effort, and skill was used in the creation of the art - which is what is important. They have a lot of events for kids/teens to get into art, music, and theater which I find heartwarming. There are also events for adults to partake in, but I think they are more catered towards the younger generations. :) I'm happy I went and saw Rocky Horror here recently.
