I brought my wedding set that needed a great deal of work completed to these guys a few weeks ago. Everyone in this company were super nice! I have been a silver and goldsmith hobbyist for the past 10 years and have a studio at home where I make gold and silver jewelry so I know a good bit about jewelry. I shared that with the sweet young lady at the counter and she allowed for me to step back and speak to the jeweler whom was so sweet and knowledgeable!! She showed me where my diamonds were loose and the process that she Would use in order to replace some pieces of my setting so that the diamonds would stay secure. What a wonderful experience! When my husband picked up my rings the sales lady said that the jeweler knew that I made jewelry so she took extra care with my wedding set! When I saw my rings I was amazed with how shiny and new my wedding set looked!! It looked as good as it did when I got married 20 years ago!!! It looked so pretty that I had to leave a review for them because I didn’t know anything about this company before I visited them as I googled for a diamond/jewelry company near me and found them. 5 stars for David Douglas Jewelers! I recently took two David Yurman rings to David Douglas Jewelers for resizing. One ring was a Mariner Compass and the other was a Lion signet. Both were very sentimental and had special meaning and I wanted to wear them on my right hand. I don't know, I guess growing old makes the right hand ring finger knuckle increase in size? LOL. Both rings were 925 sterling silver rings and a size 10. They both needed a re-size to 11. Letitia took great care of me, double checking my ring size and making recommendations. The work took 2 weeks and pricing was very reasonable considering the cost of replacing the rings. At pickup, the rings fit perfectly and were polished, looking as if they were brand new. Letitia scored more points with her excellent customer service and friendly demeanor. Additionally, I had two other David Yurman rings, each with stones. David Douglas' professionals looked carefully at each one and then respectfully declined to attempt to re-size, concerned about damaging the stones. They recommended I only trust David Yurman to do the work on those rings. Overall, I loved my experience in getting my rings re-sized. The shop is clean and the Shinola watches caught my eye.
