Went into their store looking for a torque wrench, last place in town I tried. I was in military uniform as I just got off work and was on my way home for the weekend. After asking if they had it, the two older gentlemen laughed at me and one of them told me to go back to base to get one, continued to giggle as if it was an absurd request to find a tool in a hardware store! Not my first bad experience with this one particular gentleman. I do not understand how they stay in business. Also the most expensive place in town.

This hardware store will take you back to a much simpler time and has just about everything you need. It is really more like a hardware store mixed with a general store. The staff is very helpful, and if they dont have it they will get it for you. Parking is a bit tough if there are a good amount of people in the store. They take card or cash, but be aware, the proprietors are older folks and may ask you to come behind the counter to put your pin in the card machine. They are old school, which we love. Prices are decent, but may be a little elevated. If you pull the last item off the shelf, let the person behind the counter know. They write it in a spiral notebook for reorder...no electronic reordering systems here! Just small...

I really wish I had never found this place because now I can’t wait to come back! I called to ask if they had an ice cream maker. The guy said they had one so I headed that way. When I walked in he greeted me and I said I called about the ice cream machine but I wanted to browse since I saw they had a lot of cute stuff.
