Atwoods — Local services in Woodward

Was raised in northwest Oklahoma and I'm 70 years old. Have always shopped at Atwoods, Woodward, Oklahoma ever since the first store opened here. Most of the time I'm in Atwoods two or three times a week. Always have been pleased with products and customer service but, have walked out twice in the last two weeks because of really bad customer service. Both times we left carts, in the store, full of products. Both times, "not enough checkers", while several other employees were just standing around. Last time, there were two checkers checking and customers were five deep at both checkouts. If Atwoods doesn't want my business, I'll take it someplace else, and that is what I did.....yes, I paid more but, I received great customer...

Excellent inventory of all you need. If they don't have it, 75% sure you don't need it. Ammo? Check. Canning supplies? Check. The staff was helpful. Here is my only issue...There is a lot of stuff here made in China. I needed to purchase a new pocket knife specifically made in the U.S.A, But none they had in stock were American made. I left without making a purchase not out of protest but because I don't need a knife I had to settle for. In review, stocked well, friendly staff. Please stock more made on America items and point them out! Make it obvious that you are proud to support more American workers. Dispite my complaints...You should shop here! Railway...

I came into your store on Sunday as I do every week and to buy some feed. I met a young lady with a great smile and tons of enthusiasm named Shelby. She was working in the clothing/shoe department. Shelby was BEYOND helpful and made the experience so wonderful. She was joking with my kids and even kneeled down to talk to them on their level. She was so kind and helpful that we left with two new pairs of shoes. KUDOS to her attitude and willingness to be helpful and go the extra mile to make a customer feel welcome and help her.
