Comic Asylum — Local services in Worth Township

I went in here and there's one guy, looks like he's pricing a stack of comics. He greets me and asks what I'm looking for and I tell him. He says he can't get to those comics because they're buried under other boxes and he's getting ready for a move. I ask when and where he's moving to and he just says "when we get there." Then I catch a glimpse of some back issues I need along the wall, they're on a rack in the raw, like how most places display the new releases. He waves his hand and promptly tells me nothing on that wall is for sale because he hasn't had time to price them. Funny thing is, the numbers of the issues I glimpsed before he cut me off were from 2017ish. How long have they been sitting out in the open?! Whole interaction was about three minutes. I picked out a stack of books and he said he needed to price them out. He took 20 mins to price out two books to increase the price by mere dollars. Why would anyone wait over an hour for him to price out these books? Takes a lot of gall to treat customers like that. I don't think he wants as many customers as he wants orange price tags on everything lol The owner will make you crazy makes sense why it's called asylum comics. Tremendous selection though! Large inventory but it’s all over the place literally. On the walls, ceiling, under old mail and in boxes you need a ladder to get into. The price on the comic is NOT the final price, the owner will do quick EBay scan to charge you TOP dollar…even if it’s $3.00 higher. Most comics on the walls and ceiling are the best comics, but most are color faded and not in great condition, but that doesn’t stop the owner from pricing them as MINT condition.
