Higher prices, long wait times, dry gravy bread, and al pastor tacos that could've been from Taco Bell.
You read the summary. I was thrilled to have a location just blocks away and on my way home from work. Unfortunately, the Mt. Greenwood location is much better. Gravy bread is a must-have for me, and I decided to try the al pastor tacos after seeing the owner's Facebook post. Unfortunately, the gravy bread was basically flavored, dry French bread, and the tacos had very little meat and lacked flavor. El Gallo loads their tacos with meat and I usually stop at two. I ate four flavorless tacos from here and was still hungry. I don't think this location will last without somebody ensuring quality control. Somehow, everything was cold after the several-block drive home. I'll order Uber Eats from the other location before trying...
