Jack Parker Beach Access Parking Lot #43 — Local services in Wrightsville Beach

This is the smallest public parking lot at Wrightsville Beach. The Jetty is at the Southern end of Wrightsville Beach. Access point 41- 43. Very limited parking. Spots will be gone very quickly. What will be available will be a far walk. There are no shuttles or anything like that. Near these access points, there is only 1 restaurant, Oceanic, & 1 coffee shop above a surf store, public restrooms around access point 36. It's a beautiful beach, water was cool and clear, feels good on a hot day. Big waves,so be careful. Life guard at access point 40. Lots of surfing & kiteboarding. I greatly appreciate it the very generous handicapped parking. Even more, I appreciated the flat walkway down to the beach that my rollator (rolling walker with a seat) could go on. Thanks to it and two very nice beach goers, I got to go down to the ocean for the first time in about 7 years. Whoever designed and installed that flat walkway is huge blessing. This is one of the best places for sunset pictures on Wrightsville Beach. Take the little path near the traffic circle toward the back side of the point for the best photos. This is where the UNCW students go to unwind and watch the sunset while classes are in session. They can be a little loud but they're all there to enjoy the scenery and relaxation just like you.
