SUNdays — Restaurant in Wrightsville Beach

This place is cozy (when it is not packed and loud). I've visited here twice now. The first time was wonderful as the lady who took my order was very helpful and nice. I ordered a smoothie bowl, and it was absolutely amazing and fresh! The second time was "just okay" as the lady who took our order kept laughing and repeating everything I said as I gave her my coffee order. She kept laughing so much that I had to keep repeating what I told her the first 2 times. I ordered a small iced caramel latte with stevia, 2 pumps of sugar-free vanilla, and 1 pump of sugar-free hazelnut. As she kept laughing (as if it was an off the wall order), I was kind of getting annoyed. After she wrote everything down on my cup, she proceeded to ask while laughing, "You want all of that in this size cup?" YEAHHH.....???!! I have put more than that in a small Starbucks cup that is smaller than their small size. I almost didn't want it. She might not have meant anything by it, but that was exceptionally annoying and too much.

Other than that, I really loved the short walk from my beach house there. This place is clean, and they have great options of food, beverages (alcoholic to non-alcoholic), and souvenirs. SUNdays Cafe is awesome! A perfect combination of beautiful location, terrific food and beverage, welcoming, joyous staff, and wonderful environment!

The staff is so very very welcoming! Ellie gave great advice and recommendations :-) the whole time and making me feel like this is exactly the place I’m supposed to be!

Here in Wrightsville… just steps from both the Atlantic ocean and the intercoastal waterway… this place is a haven from a hectic world.

I had a pumpkin spice latte that was to die for… Super fresh and authentic and not artificial. Just delicious.

I also had the maple pecan scone… Which, upon first bite I thought might be a little dry… But then I realized it was just a little crumbly because there’s so much delicious butter in the recipe 😂😂😂

This place is the greatest cafe! Good coffee, beer & locally produced snacks, friendly employees, electrical outlets next to almost every table if you're looking for a study spot (why is this SO unusual). These guys are one of the last cafes around actually brewing their own espresso without some automated setup, which is very cool. The atmosphere is great: sort of a comfy modern warehouse feel. Big airy open space with seafoam painted concrete, beams & reclaimed wood. Little succulents on the tables. Surfboards on the walls (good surf shop down on the ground floor as well) Nature documentaries and surf videos playing on the tvs at all times, + constant indie pop. The beach is a stones throw from the door and looks great out the windows....
