Visiting Wilmington for the first time in a long time - long weekend for our anniversary. Went in to buy a hat and some flip flops and ended up meeting two really great shop employees (sorry I missed / forgot your names - I blame my age...). Anyhow, we briefly talked about the MD surf spots and NC surf spots and they couldn’t have been friendlier - told us about an event that night in the upstairs room if we were looking for something to do that night. Surfing is big business nowadays and has become pretty commercialized. South End has stayed true to the roots of the OG surf shops; 100% focused on their customers.
