I bought my GMC Terrain from here. When I bought it the wind shield was cracked it had a huge bug guard sticker on the front that they said they would peel off and buff out and it was missing the windsheild wipers which I didnt notice till I got home. They did fix the windsheild but never removed the peeling bug guard sticker after they promised me didnt need to go in our contract they would just take care of it. [LIES] then a few months after owning the car it starts shaking and stalling. I take it to the dealership he tells me the timing chain needs replaced which is $1500. He also tells me he ran a code reader on it and there were about 15 codes that were all recently cleared on the vehicle that he believes were just cleared and never fixed. He tells me some of these codes are very serious such as the computer loosing connection with diffrent parts of the car. After having the Timing chain fixed a few months later my transmission goes out. Now I'm out another 3200$ and the mechanic tells me the front ball joints and lower control arms need replaced as well. Not to mention the car is burning oil like crazy. At this point I'm beyond livid. I owe money on this car and I've sunk so much money into it I have no money for a down payment on anything else and I cant trade it In with how much I owe. I know the dealership knew about some of these things and they should have inspected the car b4 selling it. I dont recomend them at all. I'm honestly waiting for something else to go wrong and I've only...
Read moreI bought a truck from this company, select auto group in Wyoming MI, after two weeks of having it the blinking check engine light came on. I brought it in and the shop said it was just spark plugs and coil, so we replaced that, cleared the code, and the light came right back after driving down the road. we had some people look at it and it turns out there’s oil within the spark plugs and a bigger issue from within the engine. When purchasing the vehicle there was a verbal agreement that if something major was to go wrong they would get it taken care of, but manager refused to put it on paper, so I went back in to see what we can do to get this issue taken care of and the same manager was persistent on never saying that and how I was lying and stuck with the truck now since it’s been transferred over, that they wouldn’t touch it.
Overall, after my experience and reading other reviews, never go to this dealership. They have a reputation of selling cars with band-aided problems that arise shortly after having them and never stick to their word of...
Read moreI thought this was a nice place to get a car, I purchased a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee last month, ever since then I’ve had nothing but problems with it, the car was cleared of codes the first day I bought it, 2 days after the purchase, engine light came on, tire pressure came in blinking, my car starting shaking very roughly and the electric throttle control light came on and stopped the car while accelerating…On top of that they give you a no warranty for 30 after purchasing the vehicle for i don’t know what reason if every dealership gives you the first 30 days to bring back the car if anything happens to it. They said that whatever happens to the car before 30 days then it’s on me to pay for repairs, and I’m not gonna let my car sit here any longer and let more parts of it go to waste. Service was nice and all but I’d rather them be more honest professionals, this is my only car and now I can’t even drive it without it stopping me in the...
