Walked in to the store because I was looking for some hair pomade hoping to find a good deal. Me and my 12 year old son were in the hair care aisle for about 5 mins or so. I opened one jar and smelled it, it stunk so i put the cap on and put it back. Then I grabbed another and it smelled fine so I was holding onto it while still looking. Two Asian people a man and a woman came out of no where and said where is the product? I said "excuse me" They said "you have something in your pocket" I said no I don't, I emptied my pockets and then the story changed to "you tried product" I said no I didn't I smelled it and put on back and was holding the one I was going to buy in my hand. Mind you both bottles had a seal on them and I was wearing a ball cap. I was like how the hell did I "try" it or "use" it. They said we were watching on camera. I said your mistaken and they said okay and walked off and went up to an employee and told them to watch me I guess. Needless to say I will never step foot in this place again. I don't expect a perfect day and am not entitled to one but treating people like this in a place of business is crazy. Everyone smells shampoo, soap and hair care etc. before buying it. This is pretty standard especially if you haven't bought the product before. If you want to be treated like a criminal by all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the newest and probably the smallest of the grocery outlets in the area, but that doesn't mean that it still doesn't have amazing deals inside! I'm quite fond of all the grocery outlets, as the prices there give me a flash back to the easier and cheaper days of the 90s. Whereas you can barely get anything at other stores for $100, you could go here and (depending on what you buy of course) come away feeling like there is no couponer in the world who has anything on you. šš This store isn't just about amazing prices on food though, it has household items, vehicle items, car accessories, bedroom and bathroom items, along with some fun things to look at or purchase if you need stuff like little Leatherman type tools with flashlights. The convenience of being able to shop at a grocery outlet on the west side of Yakima, can not be expressed with enough gratitude. If you've never been to a grocery outlet or even this one, stop in and see what all the fuss is about. Store is really new so still has that new store clean feel to it. Couple that with nice workers and this store is set to stay around for a long long time. I bet being right next door to planet fitness and anything fitness can't hurt either. Great job today everyone who was there. Nice greetings, assistance when needed and overall happy tone to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited the store today at 2:19 (check out time on the receipt) Manager was extremely rude to customers, as well as employee⦠stated to the employee āwhat did you do this timeā when she needed to void an item when a customer asked to remove it. Customer couldnāt pay for items and myself, and another customer offered to pay she quickly removed items so we couldnāt pay for them. She stated āIām not going to hold up the line for thisā I stated just add them to mine, customer was visibly upset and embarrassed as manager continued mentioning āoh on food stampsā this was a very negative experience for everyone involved manager definitely needs training on topics related to professionalism, ethics, and how to remain unbiased in a very diverse population. The positive outlook was I was still able to provide that customer with the items that were trying to be purchased as I had the customer go grab them again and put it on...
