Siam Asian Market — Local services in Yakima

A truly great neighborhood find. We recently stopped by the Asian grocery store across the street, and I was genuinely impressed. I went in looking for ingredients to make Tom Yum soup, and the owner took the time to help me find exactly what I needed—no rush, no pressure, just really helpful and kind.

While we were there, her daughter gave my daughter a little lipstick-shaped candy, which totally made her day. It was such a small gesture, but it stuck with me—it’s clear they care about the people who come in.

I also found out they own a Thai restaurant in town, and now I really want to check it out. They serve Khao Soi, one of my favorite dishes, and I’m curious to see how it compares to versions I’ve had elsewhere.

Great little store that’s new in town. They have a good selection of sauces, seasonings, and ingredients that are impossible to find else where in town. Such as daikon for making kimchi, a whole section of fresh mushrooms, and even bags of soup dumplings in the freezer section, as well as having a large supply of snacks and candy that I will have to come...

This is a great Asian market! Yakima needs more food diversity, and this is a step in the right direction. I needed Pho broth and found exactly what I was looking for. There are snacks, drinks, teas, some produce and various sauces. Check it out if you can! The staff is super friendly...
