Very rude and had to call a manager and make phone calls that they should have done to show them what they said was not true. I hope to God that I don't have to go there in person ever again. One word for it Prejudice. So I give them a 1/2 ⭐ Had to go in again to have them correct my last name that is still miss spelling my name incorrectly when submitted to my ACP program to get a discount if $30. But again when I come in to the office, they called my name and when I come to the counter,, they have one girl at the podium who called me up, but then 2 more employees stand on either side of me and comince to tell me that I was being mad and didn't want to talk to me anymore, and to call their 800 number or the ACP program for any issues that I have. I wasn't mad, I was just frustrated about having to waste my gas and time to try and get the discount that I signed up with when I switch to their internet service from century link, that was not very good service. This is the last time I will go into the spectrum office here in my city of Yakima Washington. The office is 99 percent Mexican workers, with only the manager who is white. I have tried calling, talking to the manager 😕 he fixed it the first time when it happened. 4 payments ago. I will just have to keep paying for the full cost untill I get an appointment with someone from the corporate office to help me out with why my services were discontinued after 3 months of getting my internet service discount if $30. I was with Spectrum for internet, tv, and telephone from 2011 to 2025, and was never late with a payment. That is fourteen years. They changed their policy in 2018 without informing me, and it was not what I signed up for seven years prior before their policy changes where they will not pro rate your bill when you sell your house and move out. I called on June 12th to cancel my home service as I sold my home, and needed to move out by June 30th. I returned my box which gave me assess on June 25th. I expected Spectrum to pro rate as I no longer had access to them as the box was the only way I could access the internet, TV, and phone. Then they deducted a whole month from my bank account on July 6th for services I no longer had access to saying I had to pay until July 17th! That is 22 days after the box was returned to them! Spectrum stole my money for 22 days service I did not have access to !!! This is thievery! I am a senior citizen and this is wrong! They have lost not only me, but also many of my friends who will now be canceling out services for both cell phone, internet, TV, and phone services. Companies with bad policies that hurt customers who have been loyal like me for 14 years or more deserve better treatment! You are losing customers like myself who feel betrayed, and...

Internet service for $40 a month: Only time used is evenings and weekends. Download speed rarely exceeds 18-20 Mbps, whether Wi-Fi, cabled to router or modem. Quite a bit less than 60 advertised, and the ~42 Mbps promised. Disappointed. New low this evening- 4Mbps. Not a lot of choice in apartment complex. Upgrade the phone, I guess, and drop the internet "service." Edit. Tonight it's 1 star. In this day and age, an ISP is an utility. My bet is the real reason Spectrum / Charter can't reliably deliver a basic service is inadequate infrastructure, understaffed IT, and outsourced CSR to pay for the ludicrously overcompensated C-level.
