Sweet Bees — Restaurant in Yakima

We've heard good things about this restaurant for a long time and we finally have in and tried it. OH MY GOSH! Let's start with the coffee, it was a nice bold brew not watered down.... yum! I had the traditional breakfast and my husband had the Sweet Bee omelet.....fantastic. We like our hashbrowns extra crispy and they are the first restaurant in town that got it right. The omelet was full of goodness, no skimping on filings there. I watched as people came and went and thought there were a lot of regulars but I soon realized it's just how the staff treats everyone. Irma was our server and she was FABULOUS! She made us feel like the family cousins that they haven't seen in awhile and missed. We will definitely be back! Sorry we started eating and put ketchup on the hashbrowns before...

Upon arrival, your greated with the fresh aroma of home made food!. . This alone brings you the sense of being home, watching mom, or grandma cook your favorite meal. As the room begins to tantalize your taste buds with fragrances of spices and herbs being added to each carefully prepared meal, you begin to await the dish you ordered. The positive music playing, people laughing, and great customer service to each table, you beggin to realize, SWEET BEES, is a unique family restraunt. With great customer service, freindly smiles, and the fastest cooks this side of the Yakima River, the only words to describe SWEET BEES is,

NOT VISTING THIS FINE RESTRAUNT, WOULD BE A MISSED OPPORTUNITY TO TASTE SOME OF THE BEST FOOD...

Sweet Bees has great comfort food breakfast and great salsa! I love how the omelettes come with hash browns and 2 pancakes (if you don't want toast or an E muffin). I ordered the Sweet Bee special and it was good! I was full all day afterward , but it wasn't too heavy for driving back to Moses Lake . I wouldn't take a run after eating here though unless you stick to fruit and small sides. If you want a solid diner experience , it is a great place to go.

I will note that it is very small, and if you have a large party, call ahead of time . There is one middle table section that can accommodate a party of 8-9 so we had to wait until those folks were done before our...
